Dorm common room: Angelus and Alanna

[locked to Angelus and Alanna]

With plenty of time to spare before meeting Cuddy for Homecoming, Angelus made his way to the common room that he'd agreed to meet Alanna in.

Angelus was... cheerful. Incredibly so. If this had been Angel anyone who saw him would have immediately run for their lives and/or tried to get a stake because it wasn't possible for Angel to be that happy and still be in possession of his soul.

But this was Angelus, so @#$% knew what that was about.

Angelus got to the common room and grabbed a seat. He then immediately stood up and started looking around. He peered at walls and under cushions and around lamp shades as though searching for something.

This kept him busy until Alanna showed up.

Alanna smiled. "If I'm elected, it would be open to anyone. As long as you're a student here. Why so curious?"

Alanna shrugged. "Like I said, I like proof. I'm a firm believer that punishment should be given out only when there is proof of doing something wrong. If being non-human is considered against the rules, half the school would be in trouble." She grinned suddenly at a memory. "Girl, boy, or dancing bear, what's it really matter?"

Alanna shook her head. "Totally different world. Does Russia also have dancing bears? We don't have many, but that's just what Jon said when he found out that I was a girl."

"Then you haven't seen me dance." Alanna shot back. "And the point was, it doesn't matter what we are, we're all students here. That's what I count."

Alanna chewed on her lip in thought. "Bel?" She shrugged. "Showing off a face isn't dangerous, last I checked. Unless it causes you to go blind. I'd talk to Bel about it and see what he had to say. It is a he right?" She shrugged. "It would depend. If no harm had come to the student, I think a talk would just do. Possibly one that included both Bel and the student."

"Gotta agree with you there. Even when it's based on truth, it has an ugly way of getting really, really messy. Like those rumors about Jon and me. Which are true. Except for the whole gay thing. Alanna swings her legs back underneath her. "Going to the dance tonight?"

Alanna shrugged. "Why not, you seem like a nice enough sort. Plus, a vote's a vote, no matter who's casting it. However, I am trying to cut any ties I may have to any group or organization. Just not as loudly as Miss Halliwell." Alanna tries not to make a face.

Alanna stands up and flashes what she hopes is a charming smile. It looks a bit closer to a scowl. "Thank you." She shakes the offered hand. "Have fun at the dance."

((Just curious, how familiar are you with Alanna's fandom?))

(Ooc: Do I need to put more info about her in then?))

(ooc: Cool. I'm going to be here for about four-five hours and then go into a Zen-like pre-SAT's mode. AKA, rents are cutting the power supply to computer. *g*))
