Current Mood: paranoid of the books.

Faith, having finally sobered up from a weekend of drinking alone in her room ~~because, OMG, STOOD UP FOR HOMECOMING!!11!~~, has set up camp in the common room.

She's got hot chocolate, a bag of cheetos, and some (gasp) schoolbooks.

Of course, this being Faith, she's eating snacks and staring at the books as if they're going to eat her.

Distractions are welcomed. Not by the books, cause they're trying to plot world domination.

"Well," Faith said, a bit sheepishly, "I don't know for sure that they're going to attack. But I'm sure they're plotting something."

Faith took the book back. "Eh, no problem- I saw you had other things to do. Besides, I spent most of the night searching for my date and drinking alone in my room," she said with a scowl.

Anakin scowled. "You couldn't find your date? Who would possibly be stupid enough to do that to you?"

[OOC: *kicks LJ for eating your comment*]

Faith smiled, a little. "Crane. But I'm sure he had a good reason. Of course, if he didn't, there will be pain. Actually, no, he might enjoy that, so a different mode of revenge is needed." She thinks for a moment. "I'm not sure what I'll do. But it will not be fun."

Anakin rolled his eyes. "Still. Not cool. So, other than plotting our imminent demise, what are the books for?"

[*kicks some more. Lives in fear of how many Homecoming comments might have been eaten this way*]

Faith made a face at the books. "I'm supposed to be doing homework, but yeah, no. I kinda gave up completely."

She shrugs, and eats another handful of cheetos. "Want one?"

Anakin smiled. "Something that bright orange? Count me in."

He looked over at the television. "Mind if I flip it on? See if there's something silly and mindless to watch? Or one about space. I love what they get wrong."

Faith passes him the bad, and turns towards the tv. "No problem- it's not like I'm actually doing anything productive. Looking for anything in particular, or just generic stupidity? ~~Cause Laguna Beach might be on and I kinda love that show~~."

Anakin floated the remote over. He was comfortable on the couch and was in no mood to get up.

"Eh, whatever looks good." He turned on the television. "Huh. What do we think about The Simpsons?"

Faith shrugged. "It's funny. I used to watch it sometimes with ~~the Scoobies~~ some kids I used to be friends with. Do you, like, know different shows and stuff?" she asked.

"I mean, you're not from around here or anything, so do you, like, have tv where you are?"

"Similar technology. We call it a holo, though. Tons more channels where I come from." He sighed. "Still nothing to watch."

Faith laughed. "Yeah, tv pretty much sucks. But really, it's not like there's ever anything better to do."

Anakin put his feet up on the table. "That's a point. On the plus side, we're not going to accidentally flip across Hutt Jello wrestling." He shuddered. "There's a vision that takes a lot to forget,"

Faith perked up at the mention of jello wrestling. Not knowing what a Hutt was, she added this piece of information to her 'Reasons to think Anakin is gay' folder.

"Jello wrestling? You guys have jello wrestling? That's so cool!"

"Jello and duct tape are universal, I believe." he snorted. "Hutts in Jello, though, is a crime punishable by flogging on at least 70 worlds." He looked at Faith. "Think of a being that looks like a 700 pound slug. It's enough to put you off Jello for life, if the cafeteria wasn't enough of an incentive."

Faith stared at him. "Okay, and ew. Thanks for that mental image." She shuddered a little. "You realize, of course, that I don't think I'm ever going to be able to jello wrestle again now."

Because of that, she left it in the mental file, but did put a sticky note that said "Ew. Not unreasonable position" on it.
