Second Floor Corridor

It was early, but Kawalsky was awake. The weekend was a blast. He danced, he ate, he had fun and there wasn't a zombie in sight.

Now he was awake, alert, eating an apple, reading over the notes he missed from last week's classes and sitting in the second floor corridor on the floor.

John passes by on his way to one of his early morning classes, smiling at Kawalsky.

"Charlie! Where's the bandana? I hardly recognized you without it."

"Library or somewhere just as quiet. I let the homework pile up this weekend," John tells him. "It kind of took second fiddle to everything that was happening this weekend."

"Of course not," John says with a grin. "How's Liz doin?"

John nods. "Good to hear. I know I was worried about her being sick for so long. Glad she seems to have beat that. Mumps, man. That sucks. And I don't think I saw her shoes but good on you for complimenting them. Get in good and she won't be able to let you go," John says with a laugh. He returns Charlie's thumbs up with a double thumbs up.

"My night...went well. Good. No, no trouble," John says simply. "Danced and had a quiet in front of the television. I'm boring and all."

[OOC: Sorry about that. Had to run into a quick meeting.]

"Yes, definitely beats zombies," John answers with a laugh. "I missed Jack the senior citizen's after party. Heard it went on for a while though. Did Janet seem like she was having fun? I mean, after everything and all."

"Good to hear. I was worried about her. I even went and tracked down a Girl Scout to sell me some cookies so I could bring them over. Those damn Girl Scouts took most of my money off those damn cookies."

[OOC: Heh, no worries. I saw it as just asking how the night went. Major K! is still and always will be aces!]

[OOC: Heh, I love it. Everyone should have a nickname, silly or not. Major K! might be the awesomest nickname at the school.]

Sam is walking by after Classics and on her way upstairs to her room. Her head is buried in a notebook of some kind and she practically trips over Kawalsky. She looks down and sees him. "Hey, Kawalsky. I haven't seen you around much lately. Thanks for setting me up with John, by the way."

Charlie, do you have any idea how much you've complicated my life?

[identity profile] carter-i-am.livejournal.com 2005-10-10 03:22 pm (UTC)(link)
"Mostly. It got a little confusing at the end there. What are you working on?"

Deciding the floor is as good a place as any, she sits down on the floor with him, sitting tailor style and pulling out her physics textbook.

"Yeah, how are you doing about that whole...thing? Let me know if I can help you out at all. And for the record, you don't have to apologize to me for anything."

[identity profile] carter-i-am.livejournal.com 2005-10-10 03:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Sam nods. "Yeah, that's probably best. I sure didn't want to know what I did when I was...well, you know. Didn't stop people from telling me, though."

She sighs and pulls one knee up so it's resting under her chin. "Janet's...got a long road ahead of her. But she's tough. Having Daniel completely AWOL during all of this didn't help. He should have been there, damn it!"

[OOC: No problem. Night!]
