Elizabeth had scribbled out a couple of notices, placing them in the entrance to the dorms and on the door leading to 239

"Come and celebrate (or commiserate!) the results of Fandom High's first student council elections in the Love Shack 239/240. All welcome! especially those with alcohol"

"I dunno," Angelus said, hooking his thumbs into his front pants pockets. "Your boyfriend looks tough. He might be able to take me."

Rory grins. "I refuse to respond to that, due to conflict of interest."

"Very political of you," Angelus gave her a nod of approval. "So, you and Logan doing anything big to celebrate the victory?"

"Nothing special, that I know of anyway. Which is nice. Hey, do you know how Lindsey is? I haven't had a chance to talk to him."

"Me neither," Angelus said. "Been so busy today I think you're the first person in any way involved with the SC who I've run into. Bel said he'd check up on him though." Angelus frowned, perplexed. "Nice? You wouldn't want a big to do from Logan?"

"Oh, big things are nice, and if he's planned something, that's great, don't get me wrong," Rory says hastily. "But my last two boyfriends fell into extremes - one doted on me excessively, and the other pretty much ignored me. So this whole happy medium I have with Logan is...nice. Besides, he already sent me flowers. "

"Ahhh, those types," Angelus nodded, knowledgably. "I hear ya. You're right though, Logan'd never be like that. Flowers, huh? That's still a good thing? Gotta admit I'm out of the loop on what girls like in the romance department. My fault for growing up two centuries ago."

Rory nods, smiling. "Some things never go out of style, though, like flowers. And...hey, you're not too rusty, from what I hear, considering you've been sighted with at least two girls of my acquaintance."

"Ack, rumors," Angelus held his hands up innocently. "I'm only interested in one, I swear. Just not sure if the feeling's mutual is all."

Rory makes a face. "Rumors suck. No offense," she adds, blushing and waving her hand vaguely. "And yeah, I thought you were probably only interested in the one. And...well, I don't know her that well, but I think it's mutual, if it's the same one I'm thinking."

"Boy, won't this be awkward if I guess wrong?" Angelus grinned. "Uh - initials LC?"

Sees her roommate and comes up to congratulate her.

"Rory, congratulations!" She says, then looks at Angelus and asks her, "Is he bothering you?"

"Thanks! And no, he's not," Rory replies. "We're talking about whether he can beat up Logan."

*rolls her eyes*

"Yeah, he's really a big man," she says.

"I know. I'm trying to decide whether to be loyal or logical. Because logically, I know he could take Logan. But I can't sell out my boyfriend."

"Dunno," Angelus muttered in a stage-whisper clearly meant to be loud enough for Rory to hear. "Bet you could make good money off him."

"Ah, yes, but a beat-up Logan is not as much fun as a fully functional Logan," Rory stage-whispers back.

"Oh that kind of selling," Angelus pretended to have misunderstood. "I thought you meant leash, collar, some massage oil - people'd pay good money for that. So I hear."

"Ah, probably," Rory says, keeping her face straight with effort. "Not my cup of tea, personally, but I'm sure someone'd get a kick out of it."

"No, see, that's the beauty of it," Angelus put his hands out as though framing a picture. "Get him in the leash and collar, then you can force him to make you tea. Also call you ma'am, if that's your thing. Not that I'm prying, of course. What you do at teatime is between you and your God. Not for innocent Irish boys like me to know."

"Logic is a good strategy to have when dealing with a vampire," she tells her roommate.

"You'd know, wouldn't you, An?" Angelus gave her a friendly smile. "By the way, congrats. I know you'll do great with the job."

"Not personally, but then I guess that makes me the lucky one." she replies and flashes a sarcastic smile. "And thanks."

"Now, can't you just leave her alone. Don't you have something evil to be doing?"

Angelus blinked at her, puzzled. "Why would I be doing evil? I'm just trying to enjoy a conversation with my friend."
