Parker is flipping channels. Hoping to find something. She is singing under her breath; she might have heard this song from Vala.

Or not.

"The dancing and the loudness and the never living it down. Yep. Got stuff thrown at me too. I think I sang 'Blue Moon' as well, but that's nothing new. I sing that every time I go out and get drunk with the guys. Or, at least, I used to." Kawalsky turns the TV off since no one's really watching it. "This place is weird."

"I agree," Rory says, moving the lollipop around in her mouth. "This place is insane. And personally, I tend to sing showtunes when drunk. I'm kind of funny to watch, apparently But then again, I believe I actually yelled at you the last time I was inebriated. Hmm."

"Oh yeah. But that's okay. I forget what it was about, and we cleared it up. I was pretty out of it at the time." Kawalsky shrugs. "At least there's no zombies, huh?"

"Exactly. A non-zombie day is a...well, usually I'd say it's a good day, but today kind of sucked. Zombies may have been an improvement."

Charlie thinks about it, then nods. "Yeah, you're right."

Rory arches her brows. "Aw, come on. Madonna is better than zombies. At least no one got punched in the face because of you."

"Ouch." Kawalsky gives a sympathetic look, then looks uncomfortable. "It was a little more than just the singing today. Something happened, and it's got me a little.. I dunno."

"Oh?" Rory asks, tilting her head. "Spill. And I bet mine's worse."

"Someone getting hit? Yeah, worse." He lowers his voice. "It's just a little awkward. I was over at Han Solo's ship, talking about class stuff and we had a drink and were messing around, and then.." He squirmed a bit at the discomfort of talking to someone about this. Considering he was a burly guy, squirming wasn't a good look. "He kissed me.. on the forehead. Just the forehead."

"Oh, that's just Han," Rory says, waving a hand dismissively. "He's...affectionate. He's made moves on me literally dozens of times - several times when I was a drag king, mind you - and he doesn't mean anything by it."

Kawalsky breaths a sigh of relief. That doesn't clear up the 'maybe I kinda liked it' part, but he's not ready to talk about that yet. "Cool." He decides now's a good time to change the subject. "So! Good lollipop?"

"Fantabulous. Best part of my day," Rory says sincerely.

"Which, by the way, the hitting was only a minor aspect of. There was also cheating on my boyfriend in front of him as the least-intelligent joke ever, getting detention, and making an idiot of myself in front of the teacher I most admire. Whoo-hoo." She twirls a finger in the air sacarastically.

"True. Lollipops are not as good as having the guy I lo-" Rory blushes. She hadn't even told Logan that, and it was looking like she wouldn't get to. "Not as good as having Logan not mad at me," she amends. "But still, this is a damn good lollipop. Thanks for cheering me up," she adds, managing a full smile.
