Just as Jack finished up preparing the room for tonight his phone rang. After a short talk he jotted down a quick note and stuck it to the door on his way out.

The note read:

Guys,

Murray called, running an errand. Be back soon. Save some fun for me.

[OOC: Mun and Mum are going out to eat suddenly and Mun will be gone for a while. Feel free to spam the post.

PIRATE RADIO: The room *cannot* be seen into, it *can* be overheard slightly, anything taking place outside of this post (i.e. dares in the dorms) are free rein. If anyone in the room wants to leave an anonymos tip they can, but beware the IC reprecussions.

ATTENDEES: I have but one request of the attendees, Once you come in set up an OOC thread for yourself so someone can easily poke/tag you if they have to. Have fun!]

"Jack, if you really want this girl, you're going to have to beg her to take you back. Because you've just stood her up and there's almost no way back from that. It took Daniel 3 dozen roses to get Janet to even consider talking to him, and she's been in love with him for years."

*nods* ~~"Jack, she's mad. Trust me. I'd be furious. And yes, you probably are."~~

~~"Well, sir, I figure you're going to need to call her, then probably show up in person to apologize, and then you're going to have to lie your ass off about where you were. Y'know, officially."~~

~~"Damn. Hmmm... I think I can get someone at the clinic to cover for me. Say I was all vomity and stuff."~~

~~And don't go tonight. It's too late and you're going to smell like tequila. But yeah, the clinic's a good way to go, if you can make it happen.~~

And exactly why am I giving him this advice again?

~~"Oh, you won't have to worry about my promise on this one. It'll happen, trust me."~~

Sam grins widely. ~~"Oh, you're very welcome."~~

Jack... doesn't know whether or not to be afraid,

~~Sure he does.~~

~~Okay maybe a little.~~

"So...are you going to keep seeing her?"

~~Oh, holy crap, was that out loud?~~

Okay, maybe mixing tequila and kahlua wasn't the best idea she's ever had.

"Honestly? This whole thing just went weird. I was going to homecoming with Beka and then I wasn't and you were going with Connor-Lite and then she asked me and I figured 'what the hell?' Then I guess I made a date last weekend I forgot about.

I forgot how confusing this dating crap is."

"Only you forget about a date, then decide to go through with it anyway, then stand the girl up. It's like a gift."

She nods, a little unsteadily. "Tell me about it. Never meant to break the kid's heart, Jack. It was just supposed to be a dance, y'know? I didn't want to go alone, so Kawalsky did me a favor. Next thing I know, I'm dating."

"It was an accident. Both of them.

And there's the problem right there, all these kids are ready to go head-first into a 'serious relationship' without knowing the first thing about one."

"I know that, Jack, really. I get it. It just gets...old, y'know?"

She rolls her eyes. "Do you think, if we tried a little harder, we could not sound so much like my parents?"
