Second floor common room, Friday night

It's been a little lonely in her room by herself ever since Tahiri went away, and believe it or not, Quinn doesn't have plans on a Friday night. Yes, yes, it shocks her, too.

So instead, she brings the 10th Anniversary Collector's Edition DVD of Clueless out into the common room and puts it on. Loudly. To get people's attention.

She doesn't recognize the girl sitting there, but gives her a friendly smile.

"Well, that, too. I mean, I could have had plans if I wanted to," Quinn says quickly. "I have a boyfriend. He just lives in another town. It's not like I'm dateless or anything."

"Oh, I didn't mean to imply anything," Veronica says, trying to keep her sarcasm in check. Obviously Quinn is one of those girls who thinks she needs a man to be complete.

"I had a boyfriend before I came here, but, well, it didn't work out very well, so I'm doing the single thing at the moment," she explains.

Veronica lets out a harsh laugh. There's no real easy answer to the question.

"Well, I found out he lied to me about something and we got in a big fight and we tried making up, but, well, it turned out he wasn't ready for the kind of relationship I wanted."

She frowns slightly but figures that's close enough without going into detail.
