After being stood up last night by Jack ~~I'm an insensitive bastard~~O'Neill, Anya takes to pouting, eating ice cream, and thinking of ways to get him back.

Rory shrugs. "I hadn't noticed," she lies. "But you're welcome, in any case."

"So, do you think you and Logan will be o.k.?" she asks, still taking big swigs from the bottle.

Rory bites her lip, pulling a marshmallow apart with her fingers. "I don't know. I hope so. Like I said, I wrote him a letter when I was at my grandparents' house, and I left it for him...I'm just scared he won't forgive me, or something. Because I really, really don't want to lose him because I did something idiotic like this."

"Well, I hope so," she says with a bit of optimism in her voice. "If there's one thing I have learned about boys and love ~~besides that they deserve to die if they wrong us women~~ is that if you have a good one you should try to keep him."

"Exactly," Rory says, pointing a wavering finger at Anya triumphantly. "And I really care about him. I think I - "

She stops herself abruptly. No, don't finish that sentence, she tells herself. Don't be stupid. You're a glutton for punishment, Gilmore. You know perfectly well that nothing good can come of...that.

She swallows. "I think I...need more to drink," she finishes lamely, taking a swig from the bottle of scotch.

[ooc: Me too! I needed one of her looking startled/confused, since I have the sad/emo one, and all the other ones are happy-looking.]

ooc: I swear one of the funnest things about fh was going through websites and gather photos for icons.

*Anya's feeling pretty good from the Scotch now.*

"How was your visit with your grandparents?" she asks slurring a bit.

"Sucked," Rory replies sleepily, starting to feel the effects of the alcohol as well. "Grandma wouldn' leave me 'lone 'bout Logan, and she wants me to date Huntz...Huntz...other Logan guy. Oh, but I got a car," she adds, perking up a little.

*Anya perks up at the sound of material items*

"Sorry the visit was lame," she says. "But tell me about the car!"

"It's a Prius, and it's blue, and if you look out the window, you can see it parked outside," Rory says, hiccupping slightly. "And it's good for the environment," she adds solemnly.

*Anya gets up to look out the window, but stumbles and immediatly sits back down.

"Tomorrow we should take a drive," she decides.

Rory nods dizzily. "Definitely. But right now...maybe sleeping is good?"

She stands up and almost loses her balance, but manages to fall into bed before passing out.

Anya throws a blanket over Rory and decides she should head to bed too.
