Barbossa set up a table just outside of the dorms, then flopped into the folding chair.

The CD player next to him was playing the galaxy's most sullen version of "Little Bunny Foo Foo". The table in front of him was covered in CDs:

A hand-written sign noted that the CDs were for sale for the "Most reasonable $5 or a bottle o' rum."

Barbossa smiled and waited for the money to start rolling in.

Parker slowed down on her way off-campus, and grinned evilly. "Oh, my. Five dollars? You got it."

Barbossa slid a CD across the table to Parker. "Been a pleasure doin' business with ye."

Barbossa grinned and took the money, sliding a CD back equally silently.

The song caught his attention again. "This be me favorite part," he said, turning up Anakin's monotone about the Good Fairy. "God, but I be lovin' this school."

Parker goes off chortling, listening to Little Bunny Foo Foo on her Discman.

Tick walked up to Barbossa's table. "Ah, a student entrepreneur. I'll take one, young salesman!"

"I'd take one as well. A singing padawan you say? It's a shame i wasn't there to hear him live. Say Barbossa, will he be giving concerts, too?" *grin*

Barbossa pulled a CD off of the pile. "That'll be five dollars, if ye please. Or a bottle o' rum." He looked at the Tick. "May I be sayin' how much I do be enjoyin' yer fine sense o' style? I be in Fashion class meself, but I be not sure that I could pull of yer look with such aplomb."

"I missed the live performance as well, but we at the radio be havin' our ways of gettin' things." Barbossa grinned and slid a copy of the CD across the table to Harry. "I'm sure he'd be amenable to requests, too. I hear he be doin' a mighty fine version of 'Freebird.' Ye might want to leave him a message about it or somethin.' That'll be five dollars or a bottle o' rum, if ye please."

Faith sees the pile of cds, and immediately starts to giggle. Pulling five bucks out of her pocket, she puts it on the table and grins. "I'll definitely take one, B. Does the new singing sensation know about this?"

Barbossa smiled. "Here ye go, lovely Faith." He shrugged. "Our latest singin' sensation hasn't been seen at the booth yet, but his window be right thar." He pointed up. "So he probably knows." He laughed. "Gotta be lovin' the weapons ban right now, Faith."

In his fourth floor dorm room, Anakin heard the sounds of "Little Bunny Foo Foo." He looked down and saw a crowd of students around a table where the Pirate was selling copies of Anakin's latest humiliation.

He wondered if crying would be an appropriate reaction. Or "I didn't see him down there when I levitated my desk out the window and dropped it" an acceptable excuse.

He finally decided on brooding. It had never failed him before.

And added Barbossa to a mental list of beings who would be sorry they had gotten on the wrong side of Anakin Skywalker.

Tick paused. "I may have a good suit, but you have a truly fine hat, chum! Very snazzy!" Tick pulled $5 out of his pocket (yes, there are pockets in that suit) and handed it over.

Barbossa took two CDs off of the shrinking pile on the table. "Here ye go. Now don't be usin' yer extra copy fer any form of mischief unless I be gettin' a cut o' the proceeds, all right?" He looked at Cally. "Not that ye'd be the sort to be doin' anything wrong, o' course."

"Now thar be a man who be knowin' a good trade when he sees one," Barbossa replied, sliding a CD back across the table.

"I be gettin' yer message at the station about gettin' back onto the water, too. I be thinkin' it be a fine idea."

Of course not, I've never done anything of the sort, and definitely wouldn't do anything to make Annie all flustered because he's definitely too cute when he's flustered.

"Yes . . . if we Naval types are to keep pursuing fine upstanding young pirates like yourself, and you return the favor by continuing to elude us, I think it might be best for us to make sure we don't get rusty, hmm?" Archie winks as he pockets the CD.

"I agree." He leaned in closer and dropped his voice. "Shall I be lookin' t'requisition a craft fer us, or would ye prefer to go through more official channels? I've got a friend who knows someone who might be lookin' t'get rid of a ship real quickly-like."
