"All Hallow's Eve." Alanna half-corrected, half nodded. "We have Yule, too, and Beltane. And all our months are the same as yours. All Hallow's not much of a holiday back home. Yule's big. And maybe I'm exaggerating a bit. I only saw her at the clinic."

"I was in there, drinking with her earlier, and after a while she left, I thought she was going to get some sleep...." Parker winces. "And can I just say? Angelus. Bastard. Enough to drive anyone to drink."

"That's the last time I saw her too, she probably is in our room. She spends more time there than I do." Alanna pauses with her hand full of chips and half way to her mouth. "Angelus? He seemed like a nice guy when I talked to him. Aside from the twithcy feeling."

"He's..." Parker restrains herself from going on her usual rant, and says, "been a creep, evidently, and Lisa said that she thinks he was dating her for some secret agenda. She was feeling pretty stupid. Which I guess is unavoidable."

"What 'twitchy feeling'?"

"Oh." Alanna blinks and tries to figure all of that out. "Well, he's not someone I would trust. He seems more of a politician kind, really."

"Exactly," Parker agrees vehemently. "I don't care *how* upfront he's been about being a vampire, he's a soulless schemer and... anyway. Lisa's better off without him, but it's not the kind of thing you can say to a girl's face when she's sucking down whiskey and binging one lollipops."

Parker thinks for a second and says, "There's a Halloween party in town next week, by the way. Maybe a group of us can go."

"That's sounds good. The party part, not the Lisa part." Alanna files away the information about Angelus right next to what she knows of him and moves over Duke Roger for a quick comparison of the two. "I wish Faithful was here, sadly, he makes sense. And costumes?"

"Sheppard was mentioning some place in town earlier... god, I can't remember the name. Anyway, he said they'd have everything anyone could want for costumes. Who's Faithful?"

"Faithful's my black furred, purple eyed cat." She pauses for a moment. "He talks. Sometimes. Mostly to me."

*snaps fingers*

That reminds me. Alanna, you know what happened to Julian, right?

Alanna thinks for a moment. "That would be no. What happened to him?"

He got turned into a cat during Zombie Weekend.

Alanna opened and closer her mouth a bit. "Wow. Um, wow. Is anyone working on turning him back?"

"Who's your roommate anyway?" Rory asks, creasing her brow. "Speaking of which, has anyone seen mine lately? She hasn't been to our room for like two days."

"Lisa Cuddy, works at the clinic? Who's yours? And people vanish." Alanna blinked. "I can't believe I just said that."

Rory nods in recognition. "Lisa's cool. She was with me in the diner over the zombie invasion. She kept my mom's leg from getting all infecty before you healed it. And Anya's my roomie - it's weird, because we were just hanging out together the other night, and I haven't seen her since. She was doing her fair share of drinking, too. Of course...so was I. Stupid boys."

"Anya...freaky money girl? I think I've seen her around. Somewhere. Plus, won't you have seen her at the Student Gov meetings? How is that by the way?"

"It's good. Marty brought you up as co-chair, and I'm going to be on the radio talking about it tonight. And yeah, she came really late to the meeting on Monday - but she still hasn't been by the room since Sunday. And I know she's not staying with a guy, since she and Jack are fighting."

"Jack? Isn't that the most popular name in school here? Second only to..." Alanna blinked. "Does anyone else find it weird that there are so few repeats of names? And...Pirate Radio, I'm guessing?"

"That is kind of weird," Rory agrees. "I share my name with exactly one person here. And yes, Pirate Radio. And Anya's Jack is the O'Neill one."

Alanna runs through the students she knows. And the ones she's heard of. Still not sure who Jack O'Neill is. "Really, who do you share your name with?"

"My mom. Rory's short for Lorelai," Rory says, smiling.

Alanna laughed. "I beat you there. I'm named after my father. Alan. And my brother Thom is named after our mother. Athomei."

"You do win there. Of course, I'm Lorelai the third, which is weird, having a number after your name," Rory says, sighing. "And my mom's the only one who actually uses the name. Lorelai the first goes by Trix. I don't know why."

Alanna nodded. "That would be your Grandmother, right? And a bunch of my friends are named after relatives. Sir Gary, short for Gareth, is a close friend, Duke Gareth is his father. And my gaurdian." Alanna thinks for a moment. "Jon's named after a relative, so's Alex, Geoffrey, and I think that girl Gary's with, Cynthia, as well. Oh, and Raoul the something or other as well."
