South Attic: Late Thursday afternoon after class

Very late Thursday afternoon after her Journalism project and debate projects were completed, Beka returned to South Attic. Her teeth were on edge. ~~And it had nothing to do with too much subtext love.~~ Everyone's emo had her...well, emo.

She kicked the bed, hard, and thought about calling Bel to spar. Instead, she flopped down on the bed, pouting, and continued reading the smutty novel she'd started in Study Hall.

[OOC: Open for interaction for now and won't bite unless you ask. ;) May be slowplay if work gets busy. When Illyana arrives, it will be NFB and closed except by specific invitation.]

Beka looked up from the bed at the sound of Cally's voice. "Hey, you. C'mon in."

::enters, closing the door behind her::

Got some time to kill, so, I figured I'd check in on my best friend, that's all. ::grin::

Beka pats the bed. "Always good to see you. Even if I'm in a wretched mood. What's up with you?"

::plops down on the bed next to Beka, smiling::

Well, just got done spending some more time with Anders, actually.

::bites her lower lip::

Wretched mood? What's wrong?

Beka gives Cally a quick hug. "Nothing with me, really. My roommate, Illyana... something's really wrong. I'm worried about her. Then there's Phoebe, and all the threats. And Bel. I'm worried about them. And Callisto's been acting really strange. Shep's ankle is bad and I haven't seen him. ~~And all of my relationships are subtext and Angelus and I have very bad timing.~~."

She quirks a shoulder. "Pretty much, everyone else's emo is rubbing off on me. So tell me about you and Anders. That'll be happy."

Oh, I'm sorry... ::shrugs, and smiles::

Well, what do you want to know? I mean we've talked a lot, and we've cuddled a lot... ::pauses, and looks innocently at the ceiling:: and maybe we've cuddled with a little less clothing than normal... ::grins again::

"It's OK, Pumpkin. Nothing I can't handle." Beka smiles. "Cuddling with less clothing than normal...? Details, Cally. The devil is in the details."

Okay, okay... Well, we kinda, didn't have shirts on... either of us... ::blushes::

Beka smirks. "Excellent progress. How'd that go? Need any pointers? ~~I may as well live vicariously.~~"

::continues blushing:: Well, it was... really fun. ::bites her lower lip::

And I wouldn't mind any tips you have, cause, well... I wouldn't mind surprising him, in a good way, I mean. ~~I also wouldn't turn down any demonstrations, either.~~

Beka affectionately tousles Cally's hair. "Did it feel good? It should, if you're doing it right. You should want to do it more."

Reaching over to her nightstand, Beka grabs a bottle of water and takes a swig. "Tips on what? Like, male anatomy, or how to play with it? Or just something you could do that might surprise?"

Yeah, it did... ::chews on her lower lip a little::

And not the, ummm... male anatomy. We're not that far, yet... ::scratches the back of her head:: So, just something that might surprise, I think.

"OK... surprise. Well, there's all kinds of surprises, Cally. And, a lot of them have to do with how comfortable you are with him and his body. You could do something sweet and nice like share wine or hot chocolate while kissing... Or..." She paused to see Cally's reaction.

Well... we sorta did something like that with the strawberries, actually... so, that's not gonna be all that much of a surprise...

"OK, well, you're quickly outstripping my knowledge of fairly innocent behavior. So, I suggest... Bite him." ~~No, no, I'm not thinking of my conversation with Angelus. What makes you think that?~~

Okay... maybe I should just make a list of the things we've already done? Cause, we kinda did that too.

Beka laughs. Really. Really. Hard. "Good idea. List. In the meantime, consider chocolate sauce as an alternative to killing me with your blushes."

::scratches her forehead::

What about chocolate sauce?

Beka smiles. "Tastes good, no? Licking feels good, right? Put your brain to work on combining those and see where it takes you."

::thinks for a second, and then her eyebrows raise as her brain goes to a very happy place, and she covers her mouth, blushing again::

Beka reaches out to ruffle Cally's hair again. "You know? You always make me feel better."

::smiles back at Beka:: Glad I could help, and... thanks for the tip. ::reaches over to ruffle Beka's hair right back::

Beka grins. "Careful, Pumpkin. I might bite."

Oh, and this is after you get through recommending me to be biting, and everything... ::smirks, and moves closer to try and ruffle Beka's hair::

"Difference between biting and being bitten...definitely." There's a tone of something peculiar in Beka's voice. Not uneasiness, but seriousness.

::pauses at the sudden serious tone::

But I know for a fact that you'd never do anything to hurt me. So, your threats of biting do not scare me! ::grins, and goes to ruffle Beka's hair anyway::

"You're right. I wouldn't. Ever." She smiles and purrs playfully at the petting.

::smiles and flops down, lying on Beka's bed instead of sitting::

I still got time to kill.

::blows her bangs out of her eyes::

Any ideas?

Beka smiles. "What kind of ideas? Like what color to paint your fingernails? 'Cuz I'd have to go with orange. Or, if you mean for right now... I dunno. Give your best pal a backrub?" Her tone is dry, her expression bland.

::shrugs, smiling, and sits back up::

Okay, deal. ::wriggles her fingers, then cracks her knuckles::

Come over here, then. ::gestures::

"Wow. I was kidding. But if you're serious..." Beka moves over to wear Cally is and arranges herself to suit Cally.

::starts rubbing Beka's shoulders, massaging the back of the blades with her thumbs::

Hey, sometimes, I just gotta keep my hands occupied. That's part of the whole reason I like playing around with engines and mechanical bits.

Beka closes her eyes and sighs happily.

"Anytime your hands aren't busy, you're welcome to work on me the Maru."

::runs her hands down and begins rubbing Beka's lower back::

Hey, I still haven't seen your ship, you know.

~~And what exactly would your hands be doin?~~

Beka rolls her head forward, then arches her back.

"What're you doing Sunday? Since we have, ick, detention Saturday?"

~~Well. They might be helping out with my ship. Or they might be...uh, hell, I dunno. Hard for them to be doing much fun while you're working. You could get hurt!~~

::works her way back up Beka's spine::

Sunday'll work. Got date night with Anders tommorow, and, yeah... Detention on Saturday. Should I dress for show, or work? ::smirks::

Some of the tension she's been storing since Celtic Studies begins to fade. The question remains, but she's less worried. Her mind drifts some under Cally's hands.

"Date...where you going? Dress for hanging out. No work the first tour. I'll take you out. Show you a nebula or something no one else has seen."

::massages the shoulders a bit again, then rubs her way down the sides of Beka's arms::

I think we're just going to Deb's, that's all. Nice quiet meal that we missed out on last friday.

::pauses::

Something no one else has ever seen? Just, like, the two of us? That's really, really cool.

"You, my friend, are very good at that. Thank you. Feels so good." Beka rotates her wrists, cracking them to release the tension.

"Dinner dates are so awkward for me. I just..." She shakes her head. "I'm not generally the kind of girl you take out to dinner."

She turns her head to look at Cally. "I'm sure someone will have seen it. But I'll take you somewhere I didn't take Cam or Anakin. You're special."

::smiles, and leans in and rests her chin on Beka's shoulder::

Yeah, well, Pumpkin here thinks you're pretty special too.
