Paige walked slowly back to her room after her trip to the perk

She got out her note book and looked at the lyrics, she'd hope music would cheer her up, but it had done the opposite. She'd mess up everything. Her whole life was unraveling and some how Sawyer had managed to get himself caught up in it all again. He deserved better.

Lily knocks on the attic door, hoping Paige is in.

Paige opens the door, "Lily!, I'm glad you're here, come in." she quickly rushes to put a blanket over the bits of broken plates

Lily sees the plate pieces and her face shows every bit of her concern. "How are you?" she asks, stepping into the room. "And don't try to tell me you're fine. I'll see right through that, you know."

Paige bursts into tears, "I'm crap. I want Geoff back, but I can't see him to tell him and my so called friend is trying to seduce him and she's not even evil!. I just want to tell him I still love him and I'm sorry."

Lily walks over to hug Paige, trying to come up with something comforting to say and trying to put the pieces together at the same time. "So you two had a fight, over the memory spell? And you moved out, and... Listen, Paige - everyone makes mistakes. I know Geoff really truly cares for you deep down. I'm sure he'll listen to reason."

Paige hugs Lily then looks around as if she's listening for something, she wasn't there, she was sure of it.

"Lily, he broke my heart and-and something happened. I think something took other. It tried to hurt him and he didn't even know it wasn't me, the man who's meant to know me better than anyone else couldn't see that it wasn't me"


She doesn't care when the evil one did, she just wanted some help

Lily does not completely follow what Paige is saying, but attempts, "People can do the worst things when they are feeling hurt... and everyone reacts to situations differently. Perhaps Geoff was internalizing his pain by turning you away rather than lashing out at you for fear of hurting you further and perpetuating the cycle." She hopes that came out the way she intended.

"And you two were wonderful together, but after such a short time, there's no way you could know everything about each other. Relationships will always have unexpected issues that come up."

"I'm not saying he knew everything, but he knew me better than anyone else and, he just didn't see. If he couldn't see how can anyone else." Her eyes are teary now "I'm gona be stuck like this forever. It's useless."

Lily looks directly into Paige's eyes with a stern look and says, "Stuck like what?"

"There's something inside me Lily, I don't know where she is now, but, she's fucking my life up and there's nothing I can do."

"Something... inside you." She's heard of stranger things. "Many of your friends, who love you very much, have noticed that you haven't quite been yourself lately, Paige. Have you talked to a doctor or a counselor... or a Priest?"

Paige nods, "a priest might work I guess, but the only priest around is that drunk guy right? She's not here now, but she'll come back I know she will."

She starts to shake a little, "I-I think Geoff would be able to help, when she was here I could push myself forward when ever someone metioned that he still loved me, but I'm scared of what she'll do to him if I see him. She doesn't lik ehim much. She says he made me weak, which I guess he did."

Paige is glad to get it all out, she's just amazed the evil one wasn't coming, maybe she didn't care anymore

"If you think Geoff can help, we should see him right away. I'll go with you, and I can help explain to him that we still need his help, even if 'she' shows up again." Lily pauses. "Love doesn't cause weakness - it is one of the strongest bonds possible between two people. I think Geoff will be very relieved to see you okay again."

Paige shakes her head, "I think she'll hurt him and I can't let that happen and I thought we were strong, but-but he told me to move out and sow my oats, if he wanted me to do that maybe he didn't love me as much as I thought."

"But don't you see? He won't be hurt by things that come from 'her' if he knows it isn't you. And the only way you're going to find out whatever the hell he meant by that... statement is by asking him. You both deserve to know the truth, and you both deserve the chance to be honest with each other."

Paige looks up at Lily, "I think she wants to kill him and I can't stop her if she decides that what she wants to do. I'm just so scared he won't understand, he took the spell I cast really badly. I don't think he trusts me?"

She takes a deep breath, "what if we go into town then workout what to do there? Can we do that?"

Lily nods, grateful for some course of action. "Yes. Let's make our way into town and go from there."

She checks for her wand - it's right where it should be. "I can protect him if necessary," she says quietly.

Paige smiles and reaches out for Lily's hand, "Thank you you're a really good friend Lily. I really appreciate this."

Lily holds Paige's hand tightly. "I'm just glad you felt you could trust me enough to let me help you," she says seriously.

"I really do, that's why I asked for you to be main contact at the clinic too." She bends over to pick up her bag, "I'm really scared!"

"At least now we know you're moving in the right direction. Things can only get better from here, Paige." Lily smiles encouragingly. "Shall we go?"
