Football [Saturday Afternoon]

Since the sun is shining and the weather is cool, John decides to head outside again. He's got an old football under on arm and a water bottle and some cookies in his hands.

He heads out into one of the empty courtyards and drops the cookies and water under the shade of a tree. He takes the football and starts tossing it to himself, running around and pretending he was John Elway, diving over defenders and winning the Super Bowl.

John wonders if anyone's open for a friendly game of football.

Cameron doesn't look guilty. Not at all.

"You guys having fun?" He asks quickly.

"Am now. Earlier was a little scary." John points to Aeryn. "Just teaching her some football."

"Cool, she'll kick your ass in no time."

"Like I kicked your ass when we sparred?"

"Dude, I was exhausted then. I could so take you any day."

John waves that off. "Not a chance. I kick your ass in everything. I'm even better looking."

"Dude, everyone knows I'm the cute one around here. And I totally pwned your ass in basketball already."

"You're totally the ugly one. And I let you win, dude. Let you win."

"In your dreams, man. I cleaned you dry," Cameron coughs and sniffles.

John is about to make another smart remark but stops at Cam's cough. "Dude, you all right?"

"I wouldn't be surprised if he did."

John bumps her with his hip. "I do not. Crichton rules are the right rules!"

She raises an eyebrow. "And I'm sure if we got everyone to play, they would know the Crichton rules?"

"Crichton rules are universal," John says, lying through his teeth. "You're just mad because I scored with on you."
