Phoebe smiles and it lights up her face when she sees the flowers. She picks them up and buries her face in the soft petals.

Beka picks up the flowers, thinking how appropriate the silver bow is. It doesn't look at all like something she'd want to see Buffy wear, but shining, silvery, mercurial... like the bond between a Master and a slave. Delicate. She's pleased. Buffy may not think she'll be good at the assignment, but she's already exceeding expectations before they've even begun.
