Pyramid Prospect Training, Day Two: In the Gym [Tuesday late afternoon/early evening]

Anders is in the weight room, doing some leg curls; once again he hasn't really bothered to wait for Kara. He can't really help it, since this whole training regimen is bringing out his competitive streak in a major way, and part of him just wants to prove to her that he's taking it as seriously as she is. Running in the morning, and training in the afternoon; it's the strictest schedule he's ever set himself on since he started playing Pyramid nine years ago, and it's great. He figures his diet could be stricter, but the cafeteria's too scary and the other options are too expensive to keep up.

He switches to the free weights, casting occasional irritated glances at the door -- he'd love to hit the weight bench but he needs a spotter for that and Kara hasn't shown yet.

"Thrace. You would show up now."

Kara gives him a big grin. "I try my best. Good to see you're getting a good work out," she says, giving him a wink. Kara goes over to the free weights and starts doing some reps.

"I was in the sim at Flight Club," she retorts. "I'm a busy girl, Samuel." She switches arms and starts another set.

"I thought maybe Sammie, but I hear that's what Lee calls you in bed Samuel is a good, strong name for a guy like you! Embrace it!" Kara laughs and switches to the leg press.
