Room #142 - Parent's Weekend Refuge

Tara's door is wide open. Laid out on the dining room table are fairy bread, blueberry muffins, three different colours of play dough, a pile of white t-shirts and some fabric paint.

She is puttering around the kitchen, readying ingredients for omlettes.

"Not very many, and we're mostly quiet. Alanna and I are in 112. Harry and Archie in 115, Roy and Sora in 118, and there's a guy in 101 but I've never met him. We're down by the abandoned dark room." She realizes she is rambling a bit. "My roommate, the aforementioned Alanna, has her boyfriend in town for the weekend, and I wanted to give them some privacy, but the common room scares me a little bit. I'm a little skittish when it comes to the gremlins, personal reasons. I saw that you were home... do you think I could sleep on your floor for a few hours?"

Faithful's ears perked up at his mistresses name but he continued eating his butter. She definetly won't be missing me tonight.

"Meow." Faithful began lapping happily at the milk, then stopped for a moment and licked Tara's hand. "Thank you. Meow."

((ooc: *grin* Ironically, I'm a cat for Halloween this year. And OMG Faithful is too adorable.))

"Meow." Faithful went back to lapping at the milk. He might have even nodded.

((Same here. Playing Alanna/Jon for me? Wretched nightmare. I just keep telling m'self that in the end, she's with George and that's what matters. And I play both halves of that relationship.))

A little while later, Faithful padded away, off to look for more adventure.

"Oh no, that's okay. I can sleep anywhere, really, I wouldn't dream of asking you for your bed."

"Thank you, I really appreciate it. And don't worry about me, I can sleep through anything." She nods and places her big fuzzy slippers by the door carefully, before getting into bed and falling asleep.
