Late Friday night, near Alanna's and Lisa's Room

Alanna and Jon walked down the hallway, holding hands and glancing at each other every few seconds.

"You know, it's nice, not having to go around lurking and thinking about what people are saying." Jon commented.

"What have I been telling you all along?" Alanna asked with a grin and stopped outside her room. "Um, this is my room. I share it with Lisa, I uh told you about her, right? I think you'll like her."

Jon grinned wickedly and hugged Alanna, making it a bit difficult for her to unlock the door. "Only if she doesn't mind sleeping elsewhere tonight."

Alanna flapped a hand at him. "Git. It's her room too you know."

Jon flashed her one of his ice melting smiles. "M'lady, I have one just like it at home. Has Alanna not explained that we use these for communication?"

Alanna glares at Jon behind his back and sticks her tongue out at him. She turned back to Lisa. "Oomph. Remind me to visit the clinic tomorrow, Sir Myles wants to meet my teachers and people I work with. You doing anything tonight?"

"I'm just teasing. I'm from New Jersey, it takes a lot to freak me out." She smiles at both of them, finding their dynamic charming, although she would never admit it. "Oh, yeah, I'm ahhhh... going to be out all night. Down the hall. Doing, stuff, that's not in this room. You two have a good night. We should grab a bite to eat or something, tomorrow, after you visit the clinic."

"I would be delighted to spend time with some of Alanna's new friends. New Jersey?" Jon asked a bit puzzled and glanced over at Alanna who rolled her eyes.

"It's a place. And um, I wouldn't dream of kicking you out of your own room, Lisa." Alanna said, sounding like for tonight she really would like to have her own room.

"New Jersey is north of here, not very far." She shrugs her shoulders. "You aren't kicking me out. I have plans; I'll be back kind of early in the morning through. Umm... just in case, you should know that."

"It was a pleasure meating you." Jon bowed and looked ready to open the door for her. Alanna glared at him.

"Ignore the babbling idiot, I find that works best. And I think we'll have to cancel our jogs this weekend, I'm kind of worried about what we might run into. Have a good night!"

After Lisa left, Alanna glared at Jon. "So do you flirt with every single girl who comes your way, or just the ones with the long legs?"

Jon grinned and closed the distances between them. "Ah Alanna, have you no faith? I told you, I'm too busy missing your wit at court to notice the call of other ladies." He leaned down and kissed her soundly on the mouth.

Alanna broke apart. "Git." But only for a second. And there wasn't much talking after that.
