Like Callisto singing Big Spender, for one.

And her dad not showing, for the other.

Parker blinks at her, pulled out of the Julia Roberts-Dennis Quaid interaction onscreen. "What?" She shakes her head. "Stay as long as you like."

Parker turns wide eyes on Quinn. "I... sure?" Then she frowns. "Like what? You participate in class?"

"You're not my teacher," she says. "Just that... I don't know. I'm fun to hang around with or something. And then run away before they can start being involved parents."

"I would," Parker says with sympathy. "But I'm too wiped. Rain check?"

"I'll take what I can get." Unlacing her boots, Callisto kicks them off. "Parker, do you think Lee would mind if I did something to his father?"

"Consiering he didn't even show to say 'hi' to the guy, I'm guessing no." Parker smirks. "And I read the note he wrote to invite him to this shindig. He might even thank you, if he gets to watch."

"This is going to be a long weekend."

"You know, I think you may have confused him tonight. He's still not used to the whole 'being hit on' thing."
