West Attic mid morning
Paige is sitting in her room, this whole parent's weekend thing has got her thinking about her mom and dad, she misses them like crazy and knows Grams will want to spend some time with Piper and Phoebe.
She decides to get on with some homework to take her mind off things, but is listening out in case anyone knocks
((open to anyone obviously))

She really wants to tell her everything that had happening with Geoff and the evil soul, see if she had any advise, but she didn't quite know how.

in his own fucked up wayhe said I was a whitelighter, only he said they were all dead, but I asked the guidence councellor Death and she said I was definitely alive, only no one's explained what any of it means. I mean the school's a pretty weird place, but I there's not really been anyone I could talk to apart from my sisters."no subject

She brings over two cups of coffee "Grams, I feel a need to protect people, even when they don't want protecting, is-is that because of what I am? I mean it's caused a few problems, but I just can't help it."

She set down her cup. "Just remember, Paige, that you cannot flaunt what you are. You cannot use your powers for your own personal gain, or they may turn against you. This place is very special in that a witch or an angel are not entirely out of place or surprising, but outside, in the real world, be careful about revealing what you are. It could be dangerous to you and attract unwanted attention."

"I know about the personal gain thing, a few people lent me some magic books" she looks down for a moment "and I know I shouldn't let people what I am normally, but here it seems ok, one of the first people I met here was a wizard I've met lots of interesting people. Even a fourteenth century poet!" she adds blushing slightly

sixfoursixfour times."She settled back in her chair. "Be careful of demons. I'm leaving a special book with Piper that will help you identify and fight them. They're the sworn enemies of witches and they will try to kill you. I don't want to scare you, my dear, but you need to know that what you are, your gifts, brings risks to your life. It's why I bound your sisters' powers, to protect them. Of course, this place seems to have undone that protection somehow...."

"Grams I think there are quite a few demon's here, I know of at least three vampires and there's a demon living in town, only they all seem to be on their best behaviour here, I've had a few threats, but I think they were just to scare me."

"Your poet is a teacher?" Grams added with another frown. "Just how old is he, my dear? And do your sisters have boyfriends?"

Ivanova grins. "I don't think we have. Ivanova. Susan Ivanova. I was actually looking for my, ah, guardian. I think he might have gotten a little lost. Tall, mottled skin, looks a bit like a lizard?"
no subject
((that's fine I'm going out myself shortly))
no subject
"Ivanova? You took a cute blond guy into Space the other week right?"
She thinks for a moment
"I've not left my room yet today, but I'll keep an eye out for him, he sounds erm distinctive!"

"Yeah he said it was wonderful, he woke me up to tell me all about it. I've never been into space perhaps you could take me some time? Erm can I get you anything while you're here?"
