Parker winces visibly, then nods. "There was an emergency at home. But my godfather's here, like I said. He's having fun being weirded out."

"I know, some of the technology you have is truly baffling!" Jon exclaimed.

Alanna smiled lightly. "That's not what she means Jon. Speaking of which, if you see a small, black cat that decided to have a conversation with you, tell it to come back and stop scarring people."

"Faithful." Alanna and Jon replied simultaniously. "And yes." Alanna added on. "He was bugging Marty during registration, and then I heard that someone was talking to a cat, so I'm hoping he stays out of more trouble."
