Late Night, Leaving the Haunted House...

Having finally found their way off of the grounds of the Haunted House -- and determined that the armed and bloody skeletons were no longer pursuing them -- Vala and Cam stopped in the middle of the street, panting for breath.

"You o.k.?" Cam asked, looking concerned when Vala rotated an ankle experimentally.

She pulled out her fake fangs. "Yeah, no problem. You?"

"I'm fine... and you're amazing." Cameron looked sheepish. "Especially considering you're still speaking to me."

Vala laughed. "We're alive and in one piece, that's always what counts, right?" She dipped in for a quick kiss. "Besides, I'll make you pay for it later."

She grinned, hooked her arm in his, and turned them back toward the dorms.

"Would that that be with or without the fangs?" Cameron asked, finally starting to relax as everything seemed to be getting back to normal.

"Hmmmmm... now that would be telling, now wouldn't it?" *traces the fangs in her hand lightly down his arm.

*looks down with a snicker* "I like surprises." *wraps an arm around her waist, taking advantage of the open sides to caress her skin*

*laughs* "Even after all that?" *gestures vaguely back at the house* "You're not surprised-out by now?"

"Okay, those were bad surprises." He grins as he looks at her. "I'm pretty sure I'll like whatever you come up with," he says as he leans in and kisses her cheek.

"Oh, I'm so predictable now?" she mock-pouts.

"No, I just love everything you do." Cameron smiles sweetly at her. "Like I totally didn't expect that outfit, but I'm definitely going for hot right now. I do miss the blonde streak, though."

"So it doesn't make me look like somebody's 'Grandma'?" *rolls eyes, mutters* "I'm gonna kill Crichton some day. It's not like I don't feel like enough of a cradle-robber as it is." *sighs*

Cameron stops walking and tugs at her hand so she faces him. "No, no way. You're beautifuly with it," he smiles gently as he touches her hair where he knows the streak normally is. "It's you. It makes you special. Crichton's an ass and doesn't know what he's talking about."

*smiles* "Well, good, 'cuz it's actually a pain to try to dye it to match the rest." Steps in close and rests her hands on his chest. "And I think you're the one that makes me special. At least you're the one that makes me feel special."

He smiles and gently caresses her cheek. "No, you're definitely special on your own. I just happen to notice it," he says softly as he leans in to kiss her.

Enjoys the long, slow, lingering kiss. Finally eases back enough to whisper, "I'm lucky you're so damned observant then."

"It's very hard to not to notice," Cameron whispers as he wraps his arm around her again and continues walking. "I'm probably just lucky I beat everyone else to it."

"Oh, like any girl in her right mind wouldn't drop some other putz in a heartbeat for a first-class guy like you!" She cuddled in tight against him for warmth as they walked. "I'm just amazed I haven't had to actually beat them off with sticks yet."

Cameron laughs as he tightens his arm around her. "I think it's that 'property of Vala' tattoo on my forehead."

She laughs and turns just enough to plant a solid, smeary, lipsticky kiss right on his brow. "Gotta make sure that doesn't wear off, then! I'd hate to have to damage some hussy for groping my guy!"

*chuckles* "Not going to happen. I'll just attach myself to you to make sure."

"Oh? And how precisely do you intend to do that, YoYo?" *leers*

"How about I show you?" Cameron grins back and leans down to kiss her.
