After leaving study hall Draco is walking around the dorms casually. But casual in a "I'm better than you" kind of way. Swaggering, I believe it's called. The dorms were silent and he was enjoying it.

Paige was on her way back to her room when she saw Draco "oh hi Draco" she says wondering if he knew

"Hey Paige." he says "How've you been?"

She smiles "I've been good actually, parent's weekend was...interesting and yeah this week's been...good," she replies looking possibly too happy given what had happened a few weeks before. "The halloween ball was amazing" she continued "I didn't see you were you there?"

"No, actually. I was talking with my Mum. Which takes up time, believe it or not."

"Did you show her the coat of arms? I'm not sure how accurate it is, but it looked good right?"

"She loved it. She loves anything that has to do with family history, really."

She smiles "I'm really glad to hear that, I mean wasn't sure whether I should give it to you since we broke up and everything, but well I figured you'd like it what ever and I mean we're still friends right?"

Paige smiles "I'm glad cos you know after everything that happened the other I just feel like I lost a lot of people, I mean loads of people still think I was to blame." she sighs "I dunno maybe I was."

Lily is walking back from class. She smiles and waves when she sees Draco.

"Hey." he says when he walks up to her. He kisses her lightly on the lips. "I missed you."

"I missed you too - It's been almost a whole week," she says, pouting. "How have you been?"

"Well, my mother didn't kill me that must count for something." he says "Other than that, nothing. What about you? Did you catch that Halloween party?"

"Well I am certainly glad she left you here unharmed," Lily jokes, reaching out to touch his arm. More seriously, she says, "If you want to talk about it, we can."

"No, I didn't make it to the party - Lane and I were hanging out and being lazy just seemed like a better idea at the time. She knows so much about music! I just let her talk on and on... and I learned a lot. I've heard stories about the party, though - it sounds like it was a lot of fun."

"I'm fine. I'm just glad it's over that's all. Good news is that we were able to get a portkey to Vegas thanks to her and my aunt." he says

"Ooh, a portkey - impressive! Those are difficult to come by," she says. "That makes the trip seem so much more real, doesn't it?"

"I know, I can't wait. I've never been there." he pauses for a second "Come to think of it I've never really been anywhere in America other than here."

"I haven't either - I always wanted to visit all over America when I was younger - just seemed like such an exciting place, right? My family never had the interest - my sister thought I was crazy. Of course, she always thinks that." Lily smiles up at Draco. "How exciting that we'll get to explore together! And Angel seems very excited about taking first-timers on the trip."

"Yeah I know. He was practically bouncing off the walls at the JA meeting last night." he says "I wonder how many people'll end up going."

"He's so fun to be around when he gets excited about something - it's almost contagious! I hope there are a few other people I know going... unless you want me attached to your hip the whole weekend."

"Ah, you say that now," she says, laughing, "but I'm sure you'll want some guy-time too."

"I suppose I will." he says "But I think Phoebe and Rory are going along. Or they were at least invited."

"Oh good. I haven't met Phoebe, but I've met Rory - she seems nice."

Lily steps up onto the balls of her feet to kiss Draco on the lips. "I really missed you this weekend."

Draco smiles at Lily and leans down to kiss her again. "Me too. Next time we'll just have to find a way to see each other."

"Yes, definitely." She smiles.

"Oh! I've been meaning to ask you... You mentioned that you didn't know what muggles did for fun, and I've borrowed some games from my roommate - maybe we could play tonight. Jonathan could come - and anyone else who wanders by. It should be loads of fun!"

"Really? That sounds like fun even though you'll probably beat me." he teased

"I haven't seen Jonathan all day. He did look a little ragged yesterday though. Probably has to do with that little 'keep out' sign he left on our door." he says with a wink

"I wasn't going to bring it up, but now that it's out there - that's a horridly crude system, Draco!" Lily says, looking stern. She's good at looking stern.

Draco puts on a puppy dog look. "What? I didn't write it. I'll put something much more tasteful."

Lily blushes, and is furious at herself for it. "I believe you have missed the point entirely."

Under her breath she mutters, "Boys!"

"Aww, I made you blush!" he teases "And it really is better Jonathan wrote that rather than me walking in. Then I would blush, if I could."

Of course, the teasing only causes Lily's blush to deepen. Embarrassed and having no answer to his statement, she buries her face in his shoulder.

He chuckles for a second before lifting her head up and kissing her again.

"I like it when you blush." he says

"You... it's just... I... yeah," she stammers, her brain function gone for the moment.

She takes a second to look at the floor and fights to regain her composure - she's not used to being caught off guard like that. Looking back up, she says, "Now I'm totally not going to be able to look Jonathan in the eye tonight - and it will be all your fault!" She giggles.

"I'm so evil, aren't I?" he says "So what kind of games did you get? Anything familiar in any way?"

"Well, I'm familiar with a few of them, being muggle-born, but I don't think you'll recognize any of them. They're nothing like wizard chess or exploding snap and I say that without any clear idea of what exploding snap actually is. They're 'board games' - a flat piece of cardboard, decorated colorfully, and little pieces that move around on the board, following a path. Well, the pieces don't move themselves - you have to move them."
