West Attic - Wednesday Evening NFB

Paige sat in the living area of the attic trying to work on her project for Home Ec, so far this involved going online and looking for pictures of furniture and cushions, well in theory it did anyway, in practise she was actually drinking wine and looking at dresses, picking up her credit card every so often and putting in down again.

She went over to open the door in case Piper wanted to come see her before going back to shopping.

Piper knocks on the door. "Paige?"

Paige clicked to close a window, "oh hey Piper come in." she said getting up from the table

"I don't think I visited you here yet," Piper said, taking a seat on a chair.

She smiles "well I only moved in on Friday night and I mean what with parent's weekend and everything we've been busy. Do you want a coffee or anything?" she asks

Piper smiled at Paige. "Sure, sounds good."

Paige goes into the kitchen area and returns a short while later with two cups of coffee some cake bars.

"so is everything ok with you? I've not seen Phoebe lately is she ok?" she asks looking worried

Piper take a cup and a cake bar from Paige. "Thank you."

She thought about Paige's question. "Phoebe is dealing. As am I. I'm sure you've heard the rumors."

Paige sits down next to her sister, "about the student that was murdered? Yeah, we were meant to go to dinner last night, but to be honest after hearing about it I just wanted to stay here."

Piper nods. "I don't blame you."

"so have you had chance to look at the book Grams gave us?" she asks wondering whether now would be a good time to tell her about Sawyer

"I started looking at it, but then I thought the three of us should look over it together."

"yeah I guess so," she bites her lip a moment then looks at Piper, James told me he loves me." she says calmly

Piper blinked. "Really?"

Paige nods "yeah it was kinda the last thing I expected really, I mean he always acts so tough I never thought he'd say something like that, it kinda took me by suprise. I sort of freaked out at him about it a bit, I mean I was scared he'd get hurt after what Grams said"

"Paige, I'm not worried about him right now. I'm afraid he might hurt you. Are you sure you can trust him?" Piper was thinking like a protective older sister now.

"I can trust him, I know I can I mean it's not like with Geoff, he's been there so much for me lately even after what I did to him, he's just always been there to support me. We went to te ball together and it was just so...nice and easy. Seriously Piper he wouldn't hurt me I just know it."

Piper was skeptical. "Okay. I just worry, Paige."

Paige nods "yeah I know, so do I but, I just feel connected to him."

She bites her lip "Piper I did something really bad."

Piper peered at her sister. "Please don't tell me you used the Book of Shadows for personal gain."

She shakes her head "god no nothing like that," she suddenly looks ever more worried, "it's kinda worse than that, but I had to explain my reaction to him, he needed to know. I needed to know it wasn't him."

"Explain what reaction to who?"

Paige looks seriously worried now "I had explain to James why I freaked out when he told me he loved me, I-I told him what Grams said." She looks at Piper "please don't kill me? I made him promise not to tell anyone and I really trust him, he won't tell another soul I'm positive of it!"

Piper was silent for a moment, trying to remain calm.

"You did what? Tell me you are joking, Paige."

"I-I-I had too, Piper he won't tell anyone really he won't"

"Paige, we can't go around telling people about this. If the information got into the wrong hands... I don't want to think about it." Her tone was stern. "You tell him if he says anything to anyone, he will have me to deal with. Make sure he knows what I am capable of."

Sawyer hears voices coming from the main room of the Attic, he doesn't want to move from his position at Paige's desk --where his books are-- but he's intrigued to say the least. Lazily, he gets up and pulls on some jeans, forget the t-shirt, he figured it was Lana.

He opened the door and strode out, spotting Piper, he almost wanted to run for the hills. Crap.

Paige smiles slightly as her walks in "James baby come here and meet my sister, Piper." she says looking upset

Piper glances at Sawyer suspiciously. "Yes, I'd like to meet you."
