Outside room 230

At about 12:10am, after watching a delivery guy safely depart from Krycek's room, and waiting for him to hopefully go back to sleep, Chloe sneaks across the hall, and sets herself up outside Krycek's door. From the tone of his voicemail, it sounded like he didn't want anyone to know about his birthday. This would certainly take care of that little issue, at least for their hallmates.

Chloe works quietly, not wanting to wake Krycek up before she finishes, and when she's done, she steps back to admire her handiwork. Krycek's entire door is now covered in bright wrapping paper, with a bow at the top (or at least, as close to the top of the door as she can reach), pink and yellow streamers coming off of the sides, and an unmissable sign that says "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEX." For the final touch, she grabs the little bag with his present and hangs it off of the doorknob, before gathering her things and sneaking back to her own room.


Inside the bag is a pair of cufflinks and a note:

Alex,

Give me a little less warning next time, and I'll be a little quieter in celebrating. Happy birthday!

Krycek is rather bemused to find this on his way out to Shop class, staring at the mess display on his door for a long moment before he takes a look at the present and the note.

Stuffing the cufflinks into his bag, he decides to leave the door for now. Chloe must have gone to a lot of trouble tiny little thing that she is.

He vows to kill Jake later though. This was, after all, his fault.
