Outside Room 329 [Relationship talk]

Lily stops outside the door to Room 329 and takes a deep breath before knocking. There is a determined look on her face and her bloodshot eyes indicate she may have been crying recently... or maybe she's just tired.

Draco opens up the door and takes a look at his girlfriend's bloodshot eyes.

"Hey, you alright? You kind of scared me on the phone."

Lily looks at him for a moment, going over her speech in her head. "I want to have sex with you, I do..."

Draco's mouth drops open.

"Uh. Well I'm glad that you do but you didn't need to...Do you...do you want to come in?"

"I mean, not this very moment," Lily clarifies, walking over to sit on the edge of Draco's bed. Wringing her hands, she continues with her planned statement.

"It's just, well - you'll be my first, you know, and I... won't know what I'm doing, and I probably won't even be very good, and you'll be my first... and that's a huge deal for me."

Draco sits on the bed next to her and takes one of her hands.

"Hey it's ok. I know this is important to you. I don't expect you to know everything."

Lily winces at his use of the word expect. "That's exactly it - what if I'm not what you're expecting? What if I'm not as good as... the others? What if this changes everything between us?"

"That's why I'm trying to say. It doesn't matter to me. I like you too much to let that matter."

He likes me too much... Lily repeats to herself, something about that not sitting right.

She takes another deep breath. "I'm just... I'm sorry about... yeah. I worry. I didn't know who else I could talk to. And I thought you deserved know why I've been freaking out lately."

"I'm glad you came to me." he says "I know how important it is. I don't want to rush you."

"Don't be sorry." he murmers. He kisses her on the cheek.

Lily manages a weak smile and squeezes Draco's hand. "Thanks."

She scoots closer and rests her head on his shoulder.

"I don't want you to worry." he says, leaning his head on hers.

"Sometimes, that's just what I do," she says softly.

"Can I sleep here tonight?" she asks after a few minutes of silence.

"Of course." he said "You still holding my pj pants captive?"

"I don't kow what you're talking about - they are staying with me of their own free will," she says, with a full smile for the first time. Then, making a face, she adds, "and they're also all the way upstairs..."

Draco gives an exaggerated sigh. "I see why you're dating me now. Trying to steal all of my clothes."

He gets up and goes to his drawers amd produces a pair of black sleeping pants and a white shirt.

"You better not bewitch these pants with whatever spell you did on the last ones." he says smiling.

Lily pouts. "Is it so hard to believe that they could like me, no spell work involved?" She takes the clothes and changes quickly, not bothering to turn around like last time.

"Nonsense. I'm extremely nice to my clothes." he says. He's glad Lily was comfortable enough to change in front of him. He takes off his shirt and pants leaving him in his boxers.

"Ladies first." he says gesturing towards the bed.

Lily pulls down the covers and slides into bed, arranging the pillows to her liking. Looking up at Draco, she makes a conscious effort not to stare at his boxers.

Draco slides in next to her and puts his arms around her.

"Night Lily."

Lily rests her head against his chest, and manages a "mm-hmm."
