Dorm Roof, Monday Evening...

Vala sat up on the roof of the dorms, feeling restless. Since curfew meant the town was off limits by this hour, the roof was really the only place left to get outside and breathe.

"Not really, but I want to." Cameron said with a frown.

She smiled and turned to look at him again. "You will," she said seriously. "If you want it, you're gonna get it."

She lightened up a bit and kissed the end of his nose. "Besides, I'll take you up there myself one of these days!"

"I do," he said with a smile. "I want to with you. Do you think there's an equivalent to Sea World out there? Galaxy World or something?"

She laughed, "See? And what's the point of having a girlfriend from another planet if you never get to take trips into space?

"There's all sorts of things out there, YoYo. Wild, crazy things. Scary things. Beautiful things. Just like anywhere.

"But if you've survived Fandom High this long, you shouldn't have any trouble with the rest of the universe."

He grinned and stroked his fingers through her hair, he probably liked doing that a bit too much. "But you'll look out for me anyway. You know, I could ditch the Air Force and we could gallop around the universe and visit alien Sea Worlds all over."

Vala tipped her head back into his hand, not complaining in the slightest, snickerign at the thought of doing just that. "Aw, but I thought the airforce was your dream? They'll get you to space too eventually, right?"

"Maybe, we're not that technological advanced yet." He gently scratched her scalp.

She frowned... until his fingernails found her scalp and it turned into a purr of delight. "Well then that's just silly. If they can't get you there, I certainly can!"

She sighed and looked down at herself. "Once I grow up a bit more again, and can maybe get my hands on a decent ship...."

"What are you going to do in the meantime?" He asked softly, trying not to jump to too many conclusion.

Taking her purr as encouragement, he continued what he was doing.

"I don't know... stay here... wait for something to happen." She smiles up at him. "Be coddled by the best boyfriend the galaxy has to offer?"

"I like that plan," Cameron grinned and he reached up, cupping her cheek as he leaned in to kiss her.

Vala leaned into him and the kiss, drawing it out as long as possible. "I don't know, it's getting kind of chilly out here on the roof," she panted slightly out of breath when they broke apart.

"Mmmm," Cameron placed kisses along her jaw. "Want to go inside and warm up?" He whispered as he reached her ear.

Moaning ever so slightly, she played with the short hairs on the back of his neck with her fingers. "I don't know, I'm pretty cold. Mmmm.... I might need help with that...."

Cameron chuckled. "As if I was planning on letting you out of my sight," he reluctantly pulled back. Getting to his feet, he held out his hand to help her up.

She smiled up at him and took the offered hand, pulling hard enough that once she was up she collided with him full-body. "That, YoYo," she said, squirming meaningfully against him. "Is what I was counting on."

And she lead him back inside the dorms....
