Logan knocked on the door to Rory's dorm room and when there was no answer, he pushed the door open. Stepping into the room, he flipped on the lights and nearly tripped over the bundle of fur circling his legs. "Hey, Vladdie," he said. He scooped up the little dog and flopped down on Rory's bed. Vladdie wagged his tail frantically and licked Logan's nose. Logan grinned and scratched the puppy behind the ear.

Rory walked back to her room after talking to Parker, drained.

Why would another dimension have a Medici? she wondered as she opened her door.

"Anya, you he...hey, you!" she said, grinning when she spotted Logan. "This is unexpected. And hello Vladdie. what have you two been up to?"

"Thought I'd stop by and say hello," Logan said, stretching a little.

Rory went to sit on the bed by him, smiling. She reached over and pet Vladdie.

"Oh? Well, then...hello."

Logan snaked an arm around her waist and pulled her down on the bed. He propped himself up on his elbows and grinned down at her. "Actually, I was here to say hello to Vladdie. But as long as I'm here...." He leaned in to kiss her.

Rory laughed softly and willingly submitted to the kiss.

Vladdie seemed confused, and sad that he was no longer the center of attention. He flew up to paw at the back of Logan's head.
