Rory grinned. "Thanks. Not as cool as the glitter thing, but we non-Jedi do what we can."

"Most Jedi don't do the glitter thing, either." He thought about Aayla in town. "You might get looks if you ever run into another one and ask them about it."

"Hmm. I can't remember if I mentioned it to Mr. Kenobi or not," Rory said pensively. "I might have. In any case, I didn't get any funny looks. For that, anyway."

"Obi-Wan's rather used to hearing about my strange behavior, I'm afraid," Anakin said ruefully. "But there's another Jedi in town now, and she takes a slightly more...narrow...view of what should and shouldn't be done with the Force."

He yanked at his braid. "Pretty sure party tricks don't fit into her vision."

Rory looked pouty. "But...isn't making people happy some kind of Jedi rule? Like, keeping people content, or bringing joy to others, or some such?"

"We're not the Ewok Gift Fairy, Rory," Anakin said. "We can't make beings be happy." He thought about it. "Well, I guess we could, technically, but that's awfully unethical. Our idea of a good day is when they stop shooting at each other. Making sure they reevaluate their life choices is up to them." He smiled. "That being said, I'm rather fond of making them happy."

"I want an Ewok Gify Fairy," Rory muses. "It'd be so cute. But like, here's my thing. I'm not shooting at anyone. Most people here at Fandom aren't, really. So couldn't your whole Jedi mission statement be revised while your here? Instead of peace, bring happiness, since we already have peace."

"I'll have to float that past the Council," he said with a smile. He looked at Anders, who had just chucked a gumball at him. "Well, that was rude," he muttered.

"That's just Anders being nice," Rory explained. "I think it's a gift. He threw one at me in Classic Languages this morning."

"This planet has some strange customs," Anakin said. "Wait. Is Anders even from this planet?"

Rory shrugged. "Maybe? I haven't asked. All I know about him is that he's got a first name he hates and that he and his girlfriend are cuter than they have any right being."

Anakin looked across the room. "I'd have to agree on the cuteness thing." He didn't look wistful. He didn't. Don't think he did.

Rory glanced over towards them, and caught sight of Logan. "Hey...speaking of being cute..." She turned and grinned at Anakin. "Mind if I scoot off to talk to Logan? I need to ask him something."

"Not a problem. I'm going to have a chat with Anders."
