"Friday?" Logan presses his index fingers to his temple. "I'm getting a vision - I'm seeing you - sexy leather outfit - standing in a spotlight - holding a spork?" He tilts his head. "It's a new power. Could be faulty."

"So Angelus told you?" Rory smirks and idly plays with the collar of his shirt. "Are you going to come? And no spork, as far as I know...though that doesn't mean much."

"Yep, he mentioned it in an email," Logan says, dropping his hands. "And, as much as it pains me to say this - I will not be there. Got a call from one of my mom's lawyers today, and I gotta jet back to California for a couple days. Starting Friday."

Logan shakes his head. "Bunch of legal bullshit. Pain in the ass, but no big deal. Tell you what, - you make sure you still have that outfit when I get back. Should cheer me up a bit." He grins at her.

Rory's cheeks flush a smidge, and her mouth twists in a wry grin. "I think I can manage that. Though leather's not really my...thing."

She rolls her eyes and makes a great show of looking put-upon. "But if it'll cheer you up..."

"Hmm." Rory looks around, gets the jar of cherries from where she left it, and scoops Vladdie up off the floor. "What are you up to now? Busy? Because..." she glances at her watch, "it's awfully close to curfew. You probably shouldn't walk home now."

She starts to walk off in the direction of her room, trying not to giggle.

Rory makes a sad face over her shoulder at him, and turns around, still walking backwards.

"Some people just can't take teasing," she says, shaking her head sadly and tsking. "But if you're going to go hunting for companions, I know that in 305, there's a girl who might welcome you. Not Anya. The other one. Whatsherface. The brunette with the cute dog."
