Second Floor Common Room, Evening

Bridge is sprawled out on the Common Room floor, various mechanical parts and wires scattered around him. Every so often, he picks something up and adds it to his current contraption.

The TV is on and providing background noise.

Just before curfew, Callisto stumbles past the common room on her way to the attic, seeing Bridge she pauses.

"Hey, Bridge, right?"

She may smell a bit like stale popcorn.

"Hey, Callisto!" he chirps. "I remember you. The fashion show!" He gestures vaguely to the mess on the floor "I'm working on your lock right now, actually."

"You are? That's great" Callisto walks in and flops down beside Bridge. She looks at the mess. "I think..."

"Yep!" Bridge grins enthusiastically. "Standard keycode entry with programmable extra codes... that sound okay?"

Callisto frowns for a moment as she tries to remember what exactly keycodes are, then grins. "Yeah, that sounds fine."

"Coolness." He visibly hesitates, not sure if he should say anything about the possible side-effects of using parts scrounged from around Fandom.

Luckily for Bridge, Callisto slumped bakwards to lie on the floor, and is too busy looking at the ceiling to notice the pause. "So, not to rush you or anything, but do you have any idea how long it'll take to make it?"

"Not too long," Bridge says, apparently deciding not to warn Callisto after all. "Should be finished by Tuesday night at the latest, I think. Unless somethng goes wrong... but I'm sure it won't!"

"Brilliant." Callisto smiles at Bridge. "So, Bridge, tell me a bit about yourself, I know you're in my Ethics class, but that's about it."

"DAMN IT!"

A small, furry bundle comes zooming into the common room, with Rory on its heels. "Vladdie! Get back here!"

Bridge waves to aforementioned furry bundle of puppy. "Hey, Vladdie!"

Vladdie gleefully turns in the direction of his OMGFRIEND's voice and promptly throws his tiny little self at Bridge.

"Vladdie, you idiot," Rory sighs, watching this. "Sorry, Bridge."

[ooc: This should've been noted earlier - this is about half an hour prior to curfew]

"S'all good," Bridge says, and scritches Vladdie behind his ears.

Rory smiles as Vladdie licks Bridge's face, and glances at the TV. "What are you watching?"

Bridge looks at the TV, on which a woman is running around on the beach in a bathing suit. "I'm not sure... Ocean Alert, or something? That show where there's always someone drowning, and then one of the lifeguards has to rescue them? Sometimes there's sharks."

"Oh, right," Rory says, watching the screen for a few seconds before rolling her eyes. "It's an excuse to put pretty people in bathing suits more than anything, I think."

After watching TV with Bridge and Vladdie for a few minutes, Rory takes the dog and ducks out to head to Logan's (http://www.livejournal.com/users/psycho_jackass/13817.html).

[ooc: La, la, la, gone before the gremlins got there, la, la, la...]

Three gremlins hurtle into the common room chased by a light ball from room 227 (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhighdorms/260425.html).

Bridge looks up as the gremlins enter the room.

"Erm. Is anyone else seeing what I'm seeing?" he asks, as a familiar-looking ball of green light follows them in and starts ricocheting madly off the walls.

"If what you're seeing is gremlins playing with a green ball of light? Then yes, I am."

Big catches the ball as it comes at him and throws it toward Middle. Middle dives behind the couch. The ball bounces on the floor in the middle of Bridge's mechanical parts before bouncing over the couch. A pained squeak is heard.

Bridge watches the gremlins play Lightball. "Okay... just thought I'd check," he says to Callisto, before rummaging around in his jacket pockets.

Eventually, he pulls out a glove identical to the ones the gremlins are using. He puts it on and activates it, adding himself to the game.

Middle climbs up onto the back of the couch and throws the light ball at random before dropping back to the floor again.

Callisto raises an eyebrow and sits up watching Bridge and the gremlins...play? "What are you doing?"

Bridge dives for the ball and misses.

"Lightball! It's a game from home. Well, my home. You wanna play?" he holds up an extra glove. "I've got one more glove..."
