"Volunteers we have. People who want to be escorted? Not so much." Marty says with a small grin. "Of course since most of the people here could kill an elephant just by looking at them funny, maybe a safe walk wasn't such a good idea.

Parker gave him a look of okaaaay, then rolled her eyes. "And I have bad news." She braced herself. "Every single one of my intradimensional sources has come up empty on the damn... research project. We have to start over, find another place to look for it."

Angela stops by thwe booth. "Hi, I need security. I'm trying to find my boyfriend?"

"I saw him last night, about 10 o'clock ... he's tall, dark hair,wears suits a lot..." she blinks. "Oh, wait. Marty? Is that you?"

Marty squints at Angela for a second. "Angela? My god I didn't recognize you."

He gets up and gives her a quick peck on the cheek.

"So how've you been?"

Angela stretches. "Actually, it was a pretty decent day. Hung out with Shane and Geoff at the Perk, then I was just in classes, most of which didn't suck. And I got an A on my geology project. You?"

"Not bad. Hung out at Phale's after class and got creeped out by Crowley. That kind of led me to getting a henna tattoo by Duce and then I had Student Council and now this. Of course Curfew has now arrived and I have the rest of evening free. You up for some television snark?"

"Gloriously pretty. Wonderful food. And... it had other benefits." Parker gives her smug cat grin, and shrugs one shoulder. "I'm just glad we didn't have to fly commercial. The Concorde is much nicer."

Angela now looks a lot jealous. "I've never been out of the country," she mumbles to the floor. "But, um, it sounds amazing. I can't wait to see it myself."
