On her way to the clinic
After her conversation with Bel, Beka took just long enough to smoke a cigarette and get herself together before pulling out her cell to call Buffy and Illyana.
Neither was in, so she left voice messages telling them that this was a frame job, and neither of them should do a damned thing without talking to her first. For Buffy, in particular, she hoped that would be enough.
Then, and only then, did she let herself feel. By the time she got back to school grounds, no one would've doubted her for being in a state of shock. She wasn't even sure she wasn't.
