Paige is laying on the couch with Lancelot on her chest, he meows, "yeah I'm bored too, Lance, but there you go."

He moves up to her face and sniffs her, "Hell if it'll entertain you go ahead, but if you kill anyone I don't know you right?" she tells him.

He jumps off her and wonders out of the room.

"And be back by curfew," she calls after him, not sitting up.

No it's cool, you know what the radio's like they find out I was laying on a couch and they'll be all over it, well they will anyway actually, but nevermind.

I'm okay, the boyfriend finally admitted to being a stubborn jackass *she laughs* which I knew already, but it's good to know he's aware of the fact too! Right now I'm just...putting stuff off

*She laughs again* You know that saying love is blind? Well in our case it's blind, stupid and very forgetful I think. But you know it works both ways, I doubt I'm the best girlfriend ever.

You know procrastination is our friend, I mean I'm sure the adreneline we get from pulling all nighters helps us pass...or something.

*she looks at him slightly worried* you know I'm just trying to make us feel better right? Cos if you actually do that I'd rather not be held responsible

And I can't hold anyone but myself and possibly McKay responsible for any lack of sleep I may suffer.

Yeah I have to write a letter to someone but I don't really know what to say, other than that just general school work really. I have some catching up to do for my Englsih class, it's kinda hard!

I'm not sure I can do anything about the letter... seriously what can you say about this place to people who aren't here that won't get you locked up in a very soft room?

Oh the letter's to someone here, but I can't speak to them right now, I only have one person to write to bakc home and she's seen this place for herself.

No it's okay, it's mainly all the reading I have to do and I have to write poetry, but I don't have much of a muse right now, so that's difficult. You don't happen to know any muses do you? Cos I'm guessing they're actually real people, you know like DEATH is.

*Paige actually smirks at this despite her best effort not too* Right well anyway...I guess I use people now to mean well, pretty much anything sentient now. I mean you know how I feel about his human, non-human crap right? So yeah in this place it'd take too long to classify everyone that's here. I even think of Rover as a person now.

I don't think we'll need to wait that long.

Anyway, I don't know your particular stand on the human/non-human thing, but to me 'human' simply relates to a biological state of being. If you're bipedal, red blooded, liver on the left, brain on the top, 26 pair of chromosomes and the like... that's human.

If you have green blood, or are fur covered - and I don't just mean really hairy - or you recharge your brain in a wall socket over night... non-human.

Has nothing to do with if you're a good person... being... life-force - whatever. But if you collapse and you're human I have a clue what do about it before a doctor (or vet or whatever) can arrive. If you're not... I'm just gonna run for the nearest Fandom Phone.

We talked about this last time, someone called me non-human remember and you told me about a gene or something. But yeah I figure we're both pretty damn human, not that that really means much here, cos you're right, what species you are doesn't mean you're intrinsicly good or bad does it? I mean even that demon in town is kinda sweet sometimes

Now there's something you never heard people say where I'm from. "Gee isn't that demon sweet?" That would be up there with "Hey mom, look at the cute velocorapter baby I found. Can he sleep in my bed with me?"

Maia was walking down the hall when a noise made her look to her left. "Hey you, your not supposed to be here, don't you know you'll get eaten up by the squid downstairs?" Maia looked at the kitten in the face. "Where's mommy huh?" Maia held the kitten fast and wandered into the common room, walking up to where Paige was laying down Maia plops the kitten down on her stomach. "Might want to watch him Paige, I wager he'd be the squids new tea mate." Maia moved Paiges legs and sat on the couch setting Paige's legs back across her lap and rubbing them as she glanced at the t.v. "Did Sa-James like the picture?" Maia said pulling a throw off the couch and covering Paige's legs with it and rested her hands on top of the throw.

She looks at Lancelot, "I told him to keep away from squid and gremlins and well if he needed me he'd meow and I'd go get him. Part of the whole whitelight who can speak cat thing, pretty handy really!" she laughs stroking him

"I've not seen James today, well other than this morning I mean, hopefully I will later, but if not well no biggie I guess."

Maia nodded glancing at the cat for a moment. "I didn't know you spoke to cats" She said slightly amused, "I think he listens as well as Carmen did before her accident" Maia winked

Paige looks at her, "No seriously! I'm taking a class that's what he said! Well I think it was, I'm not too sure how I'm doing in that class now I think about it!"

Maia chuckles again and then pushes Paige's legs off her lap. "I need to get going, I have homework. I'll see you later babes" Maia hugged Paige and then walked away from the common room
