Xmas Lists in the common room

With thanksgiving over with Paige realised that meant she had to start thinking about Christmas and more particularly Christmas presents and where she was gonna go and what Sawyer would want to do.

Sighing she pulled a notebook from her bag and began to write a list of people she had to buy for

James
Boone
Maia
Tonks
Phoebe
Piper
Grams

she looked at the list trying to figure whether to get Geoff anything or not.

Maia wandered down the hall bored. She spied Paige and grinned, comming up behind her, she ran her hand across her back and then left her hand on her shoulder "Hey there" She said looking at the notebook in Paige's hand "OO apparently I made a list." Maia smiled wickedly "Tsk tsk, not the list I was hoping for though. Or is that list on in the back of the notebook?" She winked and then sat on the couch across from Paige.

Paige laughed, "No that one's in my journal actually!" she jokes looking over the list again

"I have no idea what to get one, not even James."

Maia's eyebrow raised and the licked her lips smiling "So where do I rank on that one?" She kicked her feet up laying down smiling wickedly again. "I have no idea what to get for anybody."

She looked and Maia and smirked, "oh you're at the top of course!" she told her.

"Do you think I should ask him wants?" she thinks for a moment "do you know if they had Christmas in the fourteenth century?" she asks still thinking whether to add Geoff or not

Maia raised her eyebrow knowing what Paige was thinking "No I think it started in the 16th actually." Maia glanced at Paige "Really the top hmmm nice to know for future reference." She stretched and then turned her head towards Paige closing her eyes for a minute then smiling. "What do you want for Christmas?"

Paige wrinkles her nose as she tries to come up with some thing, "I really have no idea, I guess I should start thinking about that really shouldn't I? And you?"

Maia looked thoughtfully for a moment, she opened her mouth to say something then shook her head as if casting the idea aside. "Um...I like rings. Silver ones." She waved her hand slightly "Or you know necklaces...Silver. I'm not a big gold person." She smiled, her eyes soft for a moment in thought.

Paige smiled, she'd like the necklace she'd ordered for her then which was good.

"Yeah me neither, th eonly gold I've ever was the necklace Geoff gave me."

She makes a note next to Maia's name silver then looks back at her "I think I might get James some new clothes cos seriously if I see him in another plaid shirt I might actually scream!"

Maia giggled "That is a great idea, he can be like a ken doll." Maia played with her nails for a moment "What should I get Chiana?"

"I see him like GI Joe myself!" she says with a smirk

"Red has some pretty nice jewellery you know, maybe we should go look next week see if there's anything for Chiana and my sisters?"

She looks at the list and adds Prue

Maia thought for a moment about Chi wearing jewelry, she was not sure "Yeah maybe a bracelet or something."

"Right so that's a couple of people sort of sorted right? You know I think James'll get mad if I get Boone something" she sighs "oh well!"

Maia nodded "Yeah I think he would. What's up with you and Boone anyway?"

Paige bites her lip and looks a little embarressed, "nothing I mean...I dunno he's nice and cute and we get on reallt well and he was there when everything came out about me being a witch to Geoff, but, he's just a friend I guess." she shrugs, she loved Sawyer too much to fuck things up with him

Maia nodded listening close to Paige, "Yeah, he's a good guy. Good wrestler as well." She sighed for a moment, "That dinner was nice at Allison's. I really enjoyed it."

"Yeah he is but you know so's James when he wants to be, I think maybe he just feels like he has to prove himself a lot of the time and that's why he is like he is."

She nods "it was fun, it was good to meet Chiana finally, she seems cool."

Maia blushed slightly and nodded "Yeah she is."

"Do you know what you're gonna do for Christmas?" she asks "I'm thinking wherever I end up I'll take James with me, since well he doesn't have a family."

Maia looked thoughtful "Well I am not staying here thats for sure. You going to your grams?"

"I dunno, I mean maybe but...I don't think she'll like James much and I want him to be comfortable, I guess I'll see what he wants to do."

Maia nodded "Well I am going back to Seattle for Christmas/Hanukkah starts on Christmas day this year. You guys are more then welcome to join me. There will be skiing and snow." Maia grinned.

Paige grins "oh that sounds pretty cool. I'll talk to James and see what he thinks, I'm not sure how well I'll do with the skiing though!"

Maia grinned, "You don't have to ski you can just mess around in the snow." She snuggled down into the couch "Would be a lot of fun to have you guys there. Talk to him tell him its no trouble at all to have you guys, I may even see if like Chiana and Tonks would like to come as well."

"Yeah I will do, thanks Maia and yeah you should it nice having her there at thanksgiving."

She looks at the list once more, "I wanna get him something really special," she says tapping her pen against the notebook

Maia looked thoughtful for a few moments "You could get him a greyhound" She said finally.

Paige looks really confused by this suggestion, "huh? Erm I don't think Lancelot would like that much!"

"No like a racing greyhound. For sport. You put it in his name and he gets the dividends off the dog see?"

She thinks about this suggestion, it sounded like something Sawyer might actually like, "but we'd not have to look after it or anything right?"

"Nope, he'd be owner, the trainer does all the caring and stuff, comes out of the dividend check, so its a win win situation if the dog is a good runner you know."

She nods, "okay I might look into that then, I think he'd like that, cos I guess it's a bit of a gamble and well I've always thought he likes to live on the edge. Thanks Maia."

Maia smiled and nodded. "I'm gonna go head to bed babes." She got up and walked over to Paige, giving her a hug she then kissed her softly on the lips. "Goodnight" She whispered against Paige's ear.

She smiled, "sleep well, Maia, I'll probably catch you tomorrow." she replied softly, yawning herself.
