Second Floor Hallways [afternoon]
Wearing his lightball gloves, and with several other pairs (along with a pair of mittens!) shoved into his jacket pockets, Bridge knocks on Anders' door.

because Bridge is rubbing off on him, OMGdirtyat the idea. "Lightball? Totally. Cally's off in the common room doing fiddly mechanical stuff, which I think she'd probably love you to help her with, but I'm bored, man. Let's go."Shutting the door behind him, he asks, "So where to? Right here in the hall?"

A small, fuzzy ball came zooming down the hallway. As he got closer, Vladdie slowed down to sniff the two boys, remembering them as OMGBESTFRIENDS. He yips happily, and lands between them.
From down the hall, a very aggravated-looking Rory slows and sighs. "Hi. He...um. He got away from me again. Sorry."

When Rory arrives a few moments later, Bridge tosses a pair of lightball gloves at her "We're playing lightball. Wanna join?"

Vladdie, for his part, looks delighted at the word, "ball."

He grins and reaches down to pat Vladdie on the head. "Hey, little guy. How ya been?"

He then gets down to the serious business of explaining lightball. "Basically, there's a little ball of light-" he switches his gloves on, and the ball appears, hovering a few inches above his outstretched palm, "-and the objective is to catch it with your right glove. Once the game starts, it'll start to move around on it's own, bouncing off walls, and, well, people and stuff."

Seeing Bridge and Anders in the hallway, doing...something was expected. Seeing Rory was not.
Uh oh.
"Uh, hi," John mumbles, addressing them all and keeping his eyes anywhere but looking at Rory. "Whatcha all doing?"

Vladdie goes zooming after the OMGSPARKLYBALL and very nearly hits the wall himself. He hovers over Rory's head, looking confused.

Miraculously, the ball collides with her hand, and her fingers close over it just before Vladdie goes flying over her hand and smacks into the wall.
"Buh?" She stares confusedly at the green light coming from her hand. She glances toward the end of the hallway. "Oh, um...Hamlet? You okay?" She worriedly looks over her shoulder at her dog, who is sitting on the floor looking woozy, but otherwise content.
