4th Floor Common Room: Late Tuesday Night/Early Wednesday Morning

Woken up and disturbed by the fighting between Paige and Sawyer, Lana grabs a blanket and pillow and escapes to the 4th floor common room to try and get some sleep.

[Open to anyone who might wander by - feel free to wake her, especially as she might otherwise miss her class!]

Kiki's searching for her cat. Jiji's out on the prowl and there's still that matter of a student being turned into a hamster, isn't there?

Kiki comes into the common room, scolding, "Jiji, this is not funny, and I am sure to get suspended if you go around eating the stud-"

Startled at the sight of Lana on the couch, she clamps her mouth shut. "I'm so very sorry!" Kiki gasps. "I didn't think anyone would be in here - sleeping, anyway.]

Lana stirs and looks up a bit muzzily. "Huhmmm? What time is it? Uh... Kiki, right?"

"Yes, I'm Kiki. Aren't you Lana? From Professor Quayle's gardening class?" answers Kiki. "It's a little after 1 in the morning."

Seeing the pillow and the blanket, Kiki wonders aloud, "Are you really planning to sleep all night here?"

Lana blushes at Professor Quayle's name. "Oh yes, that's right, I remember now. I had to drop that course. 1AM, huh.." She sighs.

"Yes, I'm planning to sleep here - or at least try to. My roommate and her boyfriend are having a huge fight and I just needed to get out."

"Oof, that's rough," Kiki sympathizes. "If you want, there's an empty bed in my room if you'd rather crash there than out here on the couch. My roommate left school, so I've got a huge single now with a bunch of extra furniture. It might be more comforatble, anyway. The couches in the common rooms? I've been told I don't want to know what's been done or spilled on them. I try not to think about it and I certainly don't ask."

"Seriously?" Lana asks. "That would be really great. The couch is comfortable enough for lounging on, but in terms of trying to sleep. And yeah, least said about that other stuff, the better." She shuddered a little.

"Thanks, I really appreciate this." Lana picks up her pillow and blanket and follows Kiki back to her room.

"No problem; you're welcome," replies Kiki, opening the door to her room. Jiji is curled up on her bed fast asleep, looking as though he's been there all along. Kiki just shakes her head at him and pulls a spare blanket from the drawer for Lana. "Just in case you need it," she says.

"Thank you so much," Lana said and curled up into the bed. She was asleep in seconds.
