Wednesday afternoon: Locker 327 (hallway)
After hearing the announcement that morning, attending Journalism, and subsequently going on a Han-hunt, Duce decided to go check out the story Locker 327 was spitting out. Superspy novel? Lemurs? Lemurs were cute and fuzzy, with the big nocturnal eyes and prehensile tails. She could see where one would make an excellent superspy. She was also having difficulty writing decent assignments lately, and thought perhaps the locker's story could offer inspiration.
Plopping herself down across the hall and slightly to the right of the locker, Duce picked up some paper and began to read. Occasionally, she'd laugh or give some other verbal response to the story. Her snakes appeared fascinated by it, staring at the pages intently and occasionally hissing some sort ofParseltongue communication back and forth.
".. so, he's in the London Zoo, trying to find where the criminal mastermind has hidden the coordinates to the chemical bomb, and he's opened a dialogue with the genengineered lemurs, who've decided to trust him even though they've never broken cover to another human before.. I get all that, but.. the obligatory female character from here," she gesticulates with an earlier part of the story, "hasn't resurfaced - she's a hanging plot-dangle. How does she work back into the story? You can't just leave her like that, hanging there with no purpose! It almost looked like she was the Obligatory Love Interest, but .. she didn't have enough interaction with Hero. Even if he's a MacDaddy 007 type, he'd have more interaction with her than 'Baby, that shade of lipstick just isn't you.'.."
(ooc: Got a complaint that Duce 'isn't in public enough'. She's in public now. Responses may be slow, but I'm here and open to interaction.)
