Running - Early evening.

Elizabeth had been slacking with her running recently. But Elizabeth wasn't expecting to end up running with Cameron as a wolf.

Still.

She was sure he'd make an excellent running partner, and there would be little conversation to distract her from the actual running. And after some of the things today, and recently, just running sounded like a great idea to her.

She quickly Cameron in the corridor to head into 239/240 to change.

"Ready?" she asked Cam!Wolf a couple of minutes later, with a smile.

Elizabeth winced again. "I think we need to get you back and," she hesitated, "bath you."

Cameron looked up horrified. He shook his head no and whined.

"Cameron, you can't stay filthy like that," she said sternly.

She paused and thought for a moment. "I could call Vala?"

He whined and hid his nose under his paw, getting dirt on it.

"Cam, the mud is just going to dry on and then it's going to be all itchy," she pointed out.

He growled softly in protest and trutted on. He'd find his own way, it was bad enough when Vala washed his mouth with soap yesterday.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes and followed him. "Fine. Don't say I didn't warn you," she said.

Cameron had the odd impression that she might be on to something.

Elizabeth continued with the run around the park, glancing at the mucky puppy beside her.

Cameron was starting to get a bit tired. Puppy energy did come in abundance, but it wore out pretty fast too.

Elizabeth noticed that he was lagging, and slowed slightly "Want to go back already?" she asked.

Cameron held up his nose and quickly caught up. He barked twice. /No, I'm fine./

Elizabeth shrugged. "Okay, come on then," she said, taking off again in a different direction. There was nothing like running on firm ground.

Cameron trotted after her. He totally didn't get distracted and tried to attack her shoes. Nope.

"Cam, watch the shoes," she said. "If you're not good, you're buying me another pair. Just be thankful my tastes aren't as expensive as Parker's."

Whining, Cameron trotted beside her again. He really needed to stop getting distracted. He shook his paw as the dirt was starting to annoy him.

Elizabeth looked down at him, and snickered slightly. "Starting to feel itchy, huh?"

Cameron scowled, but it was hard to argue. He whined at Liz. /I'm so not voting for you as president now./

"Do you want to go back now?" she asked.

He hung his head a bit, looking very pitiful as he barked once in agreement.

Elizabeth grinned, and lead the way back.
