West Attic: Saturday Morning

Lana was sitting in the common area of the suite reading her book. She was still touched that Shep had taken the time to find it for her and then (attempt at least) to have it delivered to her anonymously. She'd probably have to go track him down pretty soon to do his morning PT. She hated hurting him, but really what was the other option - no PT, no use of hand. The massage had seemed to help it a bit. Maybe if she started out with that to relax the hand some it wouldn't hurt quite as much.

Anyway... Her homework was caught up and she had the opportunity to sit and relax for a while so she was going to take it.

Paige's homework was anything but caught up, something about the crazy squid lady and made her avoid doing her Psych homework until now, so she had to get on with all.

Leaving Sawyer to sleep in her room she came into the common area with her laptop ready to get into it.

"Morning Lana," she said as she switched her computer on

"Morning," Lana said, then hesitated. "Look, Paige... About the other night with you and Sawyer... I just... it really freaked me out."

Paige takes a deep breath and nods, looking a little worried "Oh god Lana, I'm sorry, we both have tempers which...well yeah we scream and shout at each other sometimes, but...it's okay now, we've talked and we're okay now. I just found out something about his past that really upset me, but we've talked it through and it's okay. No more yelling, I promise!"

"I think it was more hearing the edge of the door splinter that freaked me. I mean, I understand it's how you guys are sometimes and I knew he wasn't going to hurt you, but..." Lana shivers.

"I couldn't even stay here. I sort of fled to the 4th floor common room to spend the night. Kiki found me there actually and let me crash in her room, which was really nice of her, but... I just really don't want to feel like I can't stay in my own room again, okay?" Lana looks at her nervously, not wanting Paige to think she's mad at her or anything.

"He has a temper, but yeah he'd never hurt me, I'm sorry if he scared you, but I promise it won't happen again. And I'm really sorry you felt like you had to leave the attic."

Paige does think she's mad at her, everyone else was so why wouldn't she be, plus she had every right to be mad, Paige knew how to handle Sawyer, but he could get pretty scary sometimes.

"Do you want us me to move out?"

Lana looked shocked. "God, no! I didn't mean that at all. I just want to make sure it doesn't happen again. And if you say it won't... then we're good."

She smiles slightly, "it won't, but I'll talk to him, make sure he understands he can't get away with doing stuff like that again and that he needs to control his temper."

"I'm pretty sure we're okay now though, I know everything about him, he knows everything about me, there's nothing to come out now, so there shouldn't be anything to argue about. I'm really sorry we scared you Lana."

"It's okay. I understand things can get... loud. But yeah, if you'd just talk to him, make sure he knows he can't do that stuff here, I'd really appreciate it." Lana smiles at Paige, then goes back to her reading.
