Lana's wandering about straightening things and humming under her breath - and not so much under her breath at times. She's just feeling happy and content. She hopes Shep will stop by at some point so they can do his last PT, but she'd be glad to see anyone, really. :)

Maia arrived at West Attic, pink faced and happy after her snowball fight. She knocked on the door and waited for Lana to open it.

Lana meandered over and opened the door. "Maia! Hi! Come on in!"

Maia came in breathless "Oh Lana it was amazing down in the park an all out snowball fight" Maia's voice was filled with excitment. "And Han boy/girl was there and Bagoas and well everyone really" She laughed again. "how are you?"

"Wow! That sounds like great fun. I'm enjoying watching the snow from up here. But if I'd known you all were out there I would have probably gone down to join in."

"Awww, well I am sure we'll do it again sometime. I mean I was out there and then Han hit me out of nowhere with a snowball." Maia laughed and sat down, her face was still very pink from the snow. "So Shep is really nice." Maia grinned.

Lana laughs "He just is. He's funny and kind and... I don't know. Just a really great all over person. I hate to say that I'm glad his injury happened, but if it hadn't I don't know that I ever would have gotten to know him this well."

Maia smiled "Well things happen for a reason." she leaned back into the couch. "Everything does indeed."

"I guess so." Lana smiles and finishes straightening the room. "I think I ought to put some Christmas decorations up. But then I think maybe I only feel that way because "everyone" does it at Christmas and maybe *I* don't need to. Can't decide. So I'm straightening instead."

Maia nodded and smiled "Yeah I am going to clean up my room tomorrow. I don't think I am going to decorate here though, we're leaving for Seattle I think right after classes are done... not sure yet. You still going home for the holidays?"

Lana shrugged. "Not sure yet. At least for the actual Christmas part of it. If Lex wouldn't let me miss Thanksgiving there's NO way he'd let me skip out of Christmas. And I do miss everyone. Hmmm.. wonder if Shep would want to come back with me. He doesn't have any family really."

Maia smiled happy her friend had a place to go for the holidays and possibly someone wonderful to share them with. "Well good for you I hope he says yes"

"We'll see. I just thought of it now, so... And I don't know that he'd want to spend *that* much time with me. He probably has better things to do anyway." She sighs.

Maia smiled softly at Lana "well you should ask anyway he may surprise you. He really does seem like a great guy."

Maia grinned up at her "Yep...So what are you planning on getting him for Christmas?"

"Getting him for..." Lana stopped "I haven't even thought about it. It just never occurred to me." She shook her head. "I have no idea."

Maia nodded "I haven't a clue what to give you an idea about either....he likes legos." She said in an offhanded manner "But other then that I am not sure."

"He likes the Sims. And he's not that into Christmas.." Lana sighed. "I can't believe I haven't thought about Christmas shopping for anyone."

Maia smiled "Don't feel bad, between getting ready to go home, trying to get things for everyone who is not coming to Seattle and the secret santa I have had zero time to really concentrate on Chi a present...I want to get her something nice that she will like."
