Marty flops down on the and flips through the channel until he finds his favorite Sci-Fi television series: Galaxy Quest.

"Bad habit? Well I think you got off easy then. Uhhh... Bad habit? You have? C'mon... you're, like perfect," Marty says with a grin.

"What did you have in mind?"

"You totally get a kiss for that," Angela says. "But I am completely not perfect. I think everything to death, I talk about people behind their backs, I can be really mean when I get mad, and I'm rotten to my parents. Also, I don't floss all that often."

"Omigod!" Marty says in mock astonishment. "That would make you a normal teenage girl! Except for the flossing thing. Have you no respect for your gums?"

Angela rolls her eyes. "It doesn't have to be, like, some huge horrible thing," she says carefully. "Just ... something you don't like about yourself."

She scowls. "I hate it when people call me a normal teenage girl, no offense. It feels like it means that I'm, like, nothing."

"Hey... I was only kidding. Really. You're not *that* normal. How many people read The Handmaid's Tale just to cheer themselves up?"

Angela leans back agains him again, mollified. "Thanks. I have to be at least a LITTLE weird to stay at this school."

"Hey, Marty? What do you want for Christmas? Not to completely change the subject or anything."

"Yeah I think the weird thing is a requirement at this school. As for Christmas? I haven't thought about it for myself. I would like to get the first three season of Crime and Justice on DVD. What about you?"

Angela thinks for a second. "You know that iPod thingie Rory has? I would love one of those, but I think they're really expensive." She smiles shyly. "Jewelry is always good."

Marty has a mischevious look on his face. "Jewelry huh? Well... I've already got one present of yours in the works but I might be able to make room in the budget for one or two more gifts."

"You don't need to spend a lot of money on me," Angela says. "I just like shiny things, you know?"

"And I haven't even started my shopping, because I suck."

"Hey... you're probably still recovering from having Thanksgiving with your family. That can suck away the Christmas spirit. Don't worry, I'm not spending a lot of money on you. I'm counting on Ash to let us make more macaroni jewlery for Christmas gifts."

"To relive our one-month anniversary? You're so sweet," Angela says. "And I need to figure out what's going on with my family for Christmas. Do you know what you're doing yet?"

"Well I figure you need to have matching earrings to go with the necklace. I'm not sure about Christmas yet," Marty says with a shrug. "I guess I could always drop in on Marcella and see how she's doing. Then again it'll be interesting to see what this place does for the holidays."

"I need to figure out how long I'm going home for," Angela says. "And, um.... if my mom's okay with it, would you want to come with me again, at least for part of it? Then visit Marcella after?"

"You sure you want me home for the holidays? You might start getting sick of me at this rate. Seriously, if your Mom is cool with it I'd love to spend the holidays with you guys."

"I'll ask her next time we talk," Angela promises, then sits back to watch the Kawlasky/Parker show.
