[Dorm Hallways and Room 201 - Monday Morning Between Classes]
In between his classes this morning, Anders can be seen scurrying constantly back and forth between his room and the dorm lobby, frequently loaded down with bulky packages from the US Postal Service, FedEx, UPS, and DHL. Every now and then, the pattern is broken, and he might be spotted with boxes of baked goods, or wrapping paper and tape.
He's discovered the intrigue of online shopping, as well as the joy of priority and overnight delivery just to make sure everything gets in before people leave for the break. For someone who had no concept of Christmas whatsoever until just this month, he's certainly throwing himself into the holiday with abandon. Maybe part of it is due to his lingering guilt over what happened to Kara, as he's definitely made a large dent already in the up-front percentage he received of his CPL signing bonus. But mostly, he just feels like doing something nice for the friends he's made here so far. You don't survive abnormal psychology, detention, carnivorous plants, and the Christmas pageant without appreciating the people who went through it with you, after all.
On one of these ferrying trips, he picks up three small packages and grins as he notices the company names on their return addresses. Eyeing the smallest one, he gulps and wonders if it was a good idea, then pushes the thought away and tucks the package into his pocket. Once he's there, he sets himself up in the middle of the floor and tackles the daunting task of giftwrapping.
The door is ajar, though mostly closed so as to keep everything as much a surprise as possible; anyone who wants to is welcome to stop in. There are plenty of cookies and cupcakes, too, for anyone who didn't specifically get a gift.
[OOC: Will be slowplayed a bit, but if you've got a present, I'll get it to you at some point if not here.]

Pointing to the smaller package, he says, "
this might be useful in the futureI thought you might like these and this," and he points to the larger box, "I hope I got the right size. And the right team. Finding that C-Bucs jacket in the off-season took a bit of finagling, but I hope you like it."(no subject)

He hops up and hands Cameron a small box (http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/watches/74ce/), and a slightly larger one (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000DJ3FD/qid=1134846958/br=1-1/ref=br_lf_t_1//103-2533248-9003068?v=glance&s=imaginarium&n=720144). "Hope these work for you, dude. Wasn't too sure, but they seemed like the right thing. Got one for Vala, too, but I'd kinda like to give it to her in person, y'know?"

He goes through the pile until he finds Vala's, and hands over the small wrapped box (http://www.sharperimage.com/us/en/catalog/product/sku__SK993/pcatid__2/catid__59805900). (It's slightly less messy than his first few attempts, luckily, but it'll never be a pro job.) "Hope you like it," he says, and then opens his own present. "Whoa. Cool. Thanks, Vala!"

He ducks into the bathroom and emerges towing this (http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B00000IS6S.01.PT03.LZZZZZZZ.jpg) behind him. There's a big gold bow tied to the handle. "Sorry I couldn't wrap it, dude. It was too big. But I figured you could tow Talky and Santa around with it."

He digs through the pile of gifts and produces two (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00032OSY4/qid=1134920746/sr=1-93/ref=sr_1_93/103-2533248-9003068?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=284507) packages (http://www.thinkgeek.com/electronics/cameras/7886/) with Parker's name on them, and hands them to her.
"Thanks for getting us something -- people keep getting us joint presents," he says with a slight blush. "She's over in the common room now. I'll take it over there in a bit to open it."

She ripped into her package, then chortled. "Oh, this is perfect! Esme needs something like this, she's so picky about being carried around! And you know I'll get good use out of this," she said mischievously, flicking the camera open and shut.
[[the albums have pix from the year-so-far, including the face-painting, the pageant, putting together the hutch in Parker's room, helping Rory move, and moments with callynanders in the common room.]]

"Hiya! How is my favoritest Anders?"
no subject
Well, there was that one guy with my name in the miniseries, but nobody remembers him.But I guess your favorite Anders is good. You're scary cheerful, my favorite Rory. And you probably will be more cheerful after you get these." He picks up a fairly large package (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000A7XMOO/qid=1134845314/sr=1-4/ref=sr_1_4/103-2533248-9003068?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=284507) and a smaller one (http://www.thinkgeek.com/caffeine/drinks/2967/) and presents them to Rory with a bright smile.(no subject)

He hops over to the pile of presents (now shifted over to the space against the wall that will in future be designated for the cornerless TV he hasn't bought yet) and rifles around until he comes up with a long, thin package (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/warfare/78d9/) and a much smaller one (http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/tools/38cc/), both wrapped in gold paper with red bows, and hands them over with a goofy flourish. "There you go. Merry holiday thing!"

He digs out a shiny purple gift bag containing three (http://www.thinkgeek.com/caffeine/accessories/5a65/) kinds (http://www.thinkgeek.com/caffeine/candy/76d0/) of caffeine (http://www.thinkgeek.com/caffeine/accessories/5f0b/) that aren't coffee, and hands that over too.
