The Heist - (music room, faculty lounge, and points outward)

Parker checked the door of the music room, and smiled in satisfaction that it was, in fact, open. She settled into an acoustically protected spot behind the base drum, and set up her radio head-set, laptop with maps and cross sections, and a small siren alarm, in case someone jams the radio, and she needs to tell the teams to get out.

"This is Control. Everyone, report in."

"Yes. Very sorry indeed." He double-timed his steps with Carter out the door. As soon as they were clear, he yanked his arm away as if it was covered in toxic waste. "That was bloody difficult."

Sam walked quickly down the hall and back to the dorms. "Look, it wasn't exactly my cup of tea, either, but we did what had to be done, and Bristow bought it. I think."

"He did buy it, right?"

"You two can report to base any time," Parker said over their headsets. "And did you do what I think you did to divert the Principal?"

"Yes," 6 grumbled. "And yes, he bought it. I think we'd be much more uncomfortable if he hadn't." 6 pulled at his pants leg with a subtle motion. "Although I'm fairly discomfited anyway."

"Oh, poor baby," Sam rolled her eyes, still a bit grumpy about it being difficult for 6 to pretend to kiss her. Unfortunately, she didn't know him well enough to say anything more than that, or to recommend a cold shower. "As long as we're in the clear, that's all I care about."

"Look, it's not that it wasn't... nice. You actually have very lovely lips and you did that thing where you..." 6 harumphed. "Anyway. My heart belongs to another."

Sam bit back the grin. "It's okay, 6. So does mine." She yawned. "I'm just going to head back to my room, okay? Tell everyone at base I said good job and that I'll see them tomorrow."

"Good night, 6." Sam made her way to the dorms, opened her door, changed her clothes and buried herself under the covers. If it wasn't for shop class tomorrow, her current plan was to stay there until Principal Bristow left.

It was almost a good plan, and didn't require making out with complete strangers. She was in.
