Rory knocked on the door between 234 and 236, and cracked it, one hand over her eyes.

"Parker? If you're having an orgy, tell me now. I just wanted to borrow a clean coffee mug, if you have one."

"No orgies here," Anakin yelped. In a manly way. Really.

"Just sitting around chatting." He nodded. "Yup."

Lee continues to look pale and in need of a stiff drink.

"Hey Rory!" Parker is hiding something under her bed, but now leans back on her hands, after whapping Lee on the shoulder again. "We're just talking. I didn't think you'd still be up."

Rory moved her hand, and gave a relieved smile. "Insomnia is fun, isn't it?" she asked, certainly not looking at Anakin. Or blushing.

"What are you all up to? I feel so left out," she pouted.

"Uhhh--- up to?" Parker said, quickly looking from the commando-clad Callisto, Kawalsky, and herself, to Anakin and Lee, being morose. "We're really not. At all. Really." She sighed. "Or at least, we shouldn't tell you if we were."

"Parker, I need a drink, tell me you have alcohol in this place," Lee half demands, half pleads.

Rolling her eyes, Parker crosses to the desk and pulls out a couple bottles of champagne, and one of Scotch. "They were going to be gifts, but here. You need this. And you guys," she said, pouring champagne into dixie cups, "deserve this. Rory, we did *not* pull off a heist. We did *not* elude Principal Bristow. And most of these people were *never* here. Got it?"

Lee, she just gave the bottle.

Rory grinned. "Gotcha. What did you not steal?"

"I love you, Parker," Lee says, taking the bottle and pulling the cork out and pouring a glass, tossing it back, and chasing it quickly with another.

"Yeah, I know, I know. We won't tell Thrace." Turning to Rory, Parker pointed to the TV, where the xBox was set up. "Ooo, look at my new xBox!"

"I wonder where that might have come from!" Rory said incredulously. "It's shiny."

"Isn't it?" Parker nudged Lee. "Look at my shiny xBox. Don't you want to play?" Then she grinned at Rory. "And there was no distracting of Biff by certain Jedi. No, no."

Rory looked very sad.

"Fine, I'll just go back to my room and let you guys do whatever fun thing it is you're doing," she said poutily.

"Night, Rory," Callisto waved.

"Rory! My friend. I have Christmas presents for you, but they're back in my room. For now.. have a drink."

"No drinking for me," Rory demurred. "And I have prezzies for you, too, which are right next door. Should I get 'em now, or wait until you give me mine?"

"I'll come see you tomorrow. We can switch then. That okay?"

Rory wandered over to Anakin after talking to Parker, and sat down on the floor by him, very careful to sit a perfectly normal distance away.

"Hi."

Anakin gave her an overly bright smile. "Hi."

"Have fun?" Rory asked, grinning for no apparent reason.

Anakin's grin turned wicked. "I have no idea what you could possibly be talking about." His face took on an expression of exagerrated innocence. "I was just out for a walk. Made a new friend."

He winked. "It was great."

"So I heard," Rory remarked, trying to keep a straight face. "I just can't believe you all went to - I mean, you all did absolutely nothing to completely not steal an xBox."

"Guess I shouldn't be left unsupervised or something," Anakin said, taking a sip from his celebratory glass of Scotch.

His eyes twinkled at her, but the tone of the conversation was carefully innoculous.

He was having just a little bit too much fun playing this game.

Rory's mouth twitched dangerously, but she managed not to smile.

"Agreed. You clearly can't be left to your own devices," she said with a solemn nod, though her eyes were dancing.
