2nd Floor Common Room. (Late Evening)

Callisto sat watching an old Bitterwoman re-run.

It was entirely possible she was lying in wait waiting for someone to make an appearance.

[ooc: Open to all.]

"Right. British. Not so much into the actual bookselling." Angel watched Callisto's hands. "What about the part where I could turn evil? Not a lot of fun for you there, right?"

Angel blushed and looked at the carpet again. "Yeah but there's risk and there's risk. A normal... guy wouldn't give you that kind of problem."

If Angel happened to brush back, that was totally by accident too. "What about the future? You know, vengence done, maybe you want to settle down, have some kids..."

Angel might have moved his arm a little in return. "What about a more complicated village life? Just saying I've got a lack of options to offer you."

Angel moved his fingers a little. "Some people might get pissed that you're trying to give me a happy."

Angel might have smiled a little and rubbed his fingers against Callisto's. "Least if they did you'd probably kill them first."

He then blinked, as though realizing he'd just put a point in Callisto's favor instead of pointing out what an amazingly bad idea this was.

Angel glanced at her. "Could... maybe be a thing then."

[ooc: Night!]

It was entirely possible that Angel had a doofy look on his face.

...

Moreso than his usual one, anyway.

If Angel turned to face Callisto then it was sheer coincidence, and not because he might've been thinking of the same thing.

Not at all.

Furthest thing from his mind.

Really.

There was a pause, then Angel moved closer and kissed her back. Nothing like the hard and demanding kind Angelus had done. Instead this was softer. Nicer. Like he was trying to get to know what Callisto was like.

Having a similar hand problem, Angel rested one of his on the small of Callisto's back.

If Angel pulled her closer it was because he had sympathy for dealing with cricks, and certainly not because he was aware of having a very empty lap.

[ooc: leaving work soonish but will be on later]

If Angel happened to put both arms around her, it was because slipping and falling was no fun for anybody, so of course he wanted to help Callisto out in that area.
