After making a fool out himself last night in various places, Marty the Elf has decided that the best way to spread Christmas cheer (other than singing) is to decorate the common rooms on all the floors

He stays up allllll night making holiday decorations out of every craft material he can find.

When the students awake the next morning and come into the common room they'll find that it has been transformed into a beautiful array of holiday decorations along with giant banners that say:

WELCOME SANTA

Marty himself has finally collapsed in exhaustion in the second floor common room, and is fast asleep.

Veronica shuffled past the common room half asleep on her way to the bathroom and noticed Marty sound asleep in the common room.

She paused, wondering if she should wake him up and send him back to his own room.

Then she noticed all the decorations and wondered if Marty had stayed up all night decorating.

Marty woke up and the first thing he noticed was that he wasn't in his own room.

The next thing he noticed was that the common room was decorated like a crazy person had done it.

The final thing he noticed was that he was wearing shoes where the toe curled up and that he was wearing yellow tights.

The events of last night slowly started to come back to him.

The next thing he noticed was probably the flash of a photo bulb, as Vala continued to give her new present from Parker a good workout.

"Aw @#*$!" Marty turned and saw Vala with the camera. "Oh you are sooooo giving me that film!"

Vala would probably have objected, had she not been wisely already halfway down the hall.
