2nd Floor Common Room: Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Marty has put "It's a Wonderful Life" on TV and has set about working through his current emo issues by trying to make every single gourmet grilled sandwich recipe from the book that Cally had given him.

Including the recipes that require the stinky cheeses.

Hopefully his new George Foreman grill wouldn't start talking to him.

"Miiiiiister Blank." Smith appears in the doorframe of the common room, smirking. "Engaging in a bit of creative culinary creation, I see. Good." He walks over and raises an eyebrow above his sunglasses. "And what is it that we are cooking up today, Mister Blank? I do hope it isn't trouble. I'd hate for there to be trouble on my first official day as Principal, even if school is not in session."

Marty blinks at the new principal. "Um... No sir. Not trouble. Just grilled cheese sandwiches. I'm sorry, I didn't even realize that our new principal had been officially announced. Mr....?" Marty

"Smith." He tilts his head slightly and pulls his sunglasses off and pockets them in his suit. "I may not have been announced, but I myself did make an announcement. I hope to present a more... personable face to the student body. Hence my appearance here. A good principal is a pal to his students, so here I am. Your pal, as it were, spending a lovely chat over the delightful smell of grilling cheese."

"Well it's... ah... nice to meet you sir," Marty says putting in a sandwich into his grill and closing it.

"And as long as you are here, can I bend your ear regarding a request?"

Piper wandered into the common room with Veronica. She sensed her friend wanted to clear her mind, so she suggested they go watch It's a Wonderful Life.

"Hey Marty!" Veronica greeted her friend as she and Piper entered the room. She glanced at the man Marty was talking to and wondered if he was the adult version of one of her classmates.

"Hey Piper! Hey V! Grilled cheese?"

Marty motions to the plate of cheese sandwiches. Some of them might be a little stinky.

"How are you two doing tonight?"

Piper waved. "Hey Marty."

She glanced at the sandwiches skeptically. "No thanks, I ate already."

Rose wanders downstairs into the second floor common room, and the scent of grilled cheese hits here. "Mmm.. Smells right nice that does."

Marty waves at the newcomer. "Hi! We've got grilled cheese and a Frank Capra movie going on. Care to join us? I'm Marty by the way."

Rose smiles at Marty and walks over. "Hiya, I'm Rose. I'd love to, thanks."

"Nice to meet you Rose. Have a sandwich. Do you like stinky cheese? No one seems to be eating those sandwiches." Marty says with a slight frown.

Belthazor wandered into the second floor common room for no good reason, other than just because the majority of the occupants could glare at him.
