Rory wandered through the dorms, Vladdie-in-a-sweater-and-in-a-bag slung over her shoulder and a bag of gifts in her arms.

She had presents for:

Alex Krycek. "The second gift is to ensure we both stay in your boyfriend's good graces."

Sam Carter.

Charlie Kawalsky.

Cameron Mitchell.

Aeryn Sun

And, of course, Mr. Canute Mimir Fluffypants. "So you can write your own smutty pirate novel, and not resort to 'borrowing' mine."

"Rory!" Sam caught a glimpse of Rory as she was on her way to the bathroom. "Hi! I have a present for you. Just let me go get it."

She opened the door, ran in to the diminished pile of presents, and returned with a small, wrapped box (http://www.fountainpenhospital.com/?src=ga&gclid=CJf_reSCiYICFQ9DGgodexB-Bw). "Merry Christmas!"

"Ooh! Thanks, Sam!" Rory said gleefully, setting down her various parcels and handing off two to Sam. "Um, one of those is kinda silly," she said, indicating the utility belt-shaped oddly shaped package, "but I figure you'll actually use it."

She opened the small box Sam had handed to her. "Pens! Yay! I love how everyone's giving me writing stuff. And these are really nice, too. Thanks, Sam!"

Sam beamed. "You really like them? I wasn't sure, but I saw pink and pens, and I thought of you."

She laughed when she opened the utility belt oddly shaped package. It looked much sturdier than the one she'd made for Rory. "This is great! I can't wait to figure out what to put in it. And the slippers are adorable. Thanks so much, Rory."

"You are so welcome. I figured every girl should have a utility belt, and, y'know...you're one of the few people I know who would honestly use one," Rory grinned. "And the slippers were too cute to not give to someone. I'm glad you like them."

Aeryn catches Rory in the hall, then ducks into her room for a second to get the packages she has for her. "Rory," she calls.

Rory happily tore off the paper. "Thank you! I'm getting all kinds of writing stuff. It's awesome. And y'know, it's weird that I didn't have Sidekicks before now. Thanks, Aeryn."

Vladdie barked once, as a greeting. Or perhaps simply because he enjoyed making noise.

Returning from town, Cameron found the packages in front of his door. He went into his room and opened them, snickering madly at the gifts. He'd have fun trying out those chocolate cake recipes and the hoodie was just too good.
