Weapons Lock-up/Target Range - Thursday, early afternoon
Shep and Pip get to the weapons lock-up and Shep presses his thumb against the panel near the door. The door slides open with a whoosh. "You may need to get someone from the administration to get your thumbprint encoded so you can practice when you want to."
They step in and Shep waves at the space in general. "This is it. Lots of shelves and racks and stuff to put your stuff on. So far I've never heard of anyone messing with anyone else's weapons, I don't think you need to worry about that. Nothing can leave this room anyway on pain of Rover."
[open to anyone, especially new students who might need to lock up anything that might get Rover and or the principal after them.]

Pip likes weapons.
"You do any shooting, Shep?"

Shep waves at the P-90 and 9mil in one of the nearby cases. "Yeah... some. But I'm guessing that even with the amount I've done, you may have done more."

"Sweaters, huh? Bet he had a tough time defending himself in a fight with those."
He grabs his P-90 out of the cabinet, noting absently that it really needed to be cleaned. "Here," he hands the gun over after making sure the safety is still on. "It's a good gun. Lightweight, rapid repeat, sturdy as hell - takes a lot to jam one or break it." He thinks about making a crack about there being a gun this guy hadn't used before, because, really... he had a lot of firepower in that case.

He gratefully accepts the P-90 and hefts it. "Nice gun. Millitary issue, right? This seems like something they'd only hand out to the army."
no subject
"Yeah, it's military. Air Force, actually. But if you ask me how I got it, I have to shoot you with it." Shep smiles.

Pip can't resist. "How did you get it? Just kidding. I've got my fair share of weaponry that if you asked me how I got it, I'd have no choice but to cough nervously and change the subject."
no subject
"You know, if that's their best defense, it does explain why they're so often thought of as neutral territory. I wouldn't go pissing people off on either side if all I had were sweaters made by blind people to defend myself with. Though I'd think their sheep would be even more afraid of people than the Scotish sheep." Shep stops and thinks... "Having one of those sweaters must make getting dressed a bitch. I mean, you couldn't look in your closet for fear of blinding yourself. And if you're wearing it, you'd have to be sure not to walk past any mirrors."
Shep smirks and rolls his eyes. "Gotta be a wiseguy, huh?" Pot, check, kettle, check. Yeah, Shep knew he'd have to keep on his toes around this guy. "And while coughing nervously and changing the subject would be more subtle and you'd probably get arrested a lot less often, my way is more permanent."
no subject
Pip taps the left side of his head. "That's where the eye-patch comes in. And while you're way is probably more permanent, my way allows me to lull them into a false sense of security, thus allowing me to strike when they aren't looking."
Pip sighs and hands the P-90 back to John. "I should probably get back to making my class schedule. Any advice for the new guy on the teachers before I go?"
no subject
"Uh... Shop is interesting. Good excuse to blow stuff up. Math one looks dead easy if you want an easy A. I'm looking at ... hm, can't remember the full name of the class, but it has 'sex' in the title, Comm 301, Physical Conditioning, Journalism 201... a few others. Anyway, if you want to sign up for any of those, at least there's a chance you'll know someone."
"I should get going too. With any luck Parker will start hosting shooting competitions again soon. I'd love to see your scores. Have a good one."
Shep puts up his P-90 and follows Pip out, using his thumbprint to lock the door behind him.
