Dorms, anywhere you want him (late morning)

Too tired from drooling on his girlfriend sitting outside sign up all night to do much productive, Cameron is currently wandering through the dorms. He still hasn't found his Little Sib person thingie and hopes to run into him as he has no clue where Walter could be staying. He might also be looking for Yuffie who he completely missed yesterday due to him having to write a song for Parkie.

During his wanderings, he really has to face up to the fact that yes, 2nd floor rocks.

After sign-up, Isabel wandered back up to the 4th floor common room and turned on the TV. Itchy and Scratchy were the best when you didn't want your brain to have to work.

Hearing noise in the not so cool 4th floor common room, Cameron sticks his head in.

"Yo, Isabel." He greets when he recognises the student and then grins. "Itchy and Scratchy? My favourite!"

"Hi! Ummm..." Isabel floundered, she'd met so many new people, she can't recall everyone's name.

"Cam," he supplied when he realised she didn't remember. "Too much information all at once?"

Isabel laughed. "Complete overload. It would be one thing to just have to remember everyone's name. But throw in all the stuff about gremlins, zombies, vampires and demons, and I think my head is about to explode."

"I don't blame you," Cameron took a seat in one of the chairs. "It's a lot to take in, but you should be fine. There's Rover to keep people safe inside the dorms. The worst that can happen here to you is that you'll embarrass yourself immensly, but that soon passes as someone else is bound to get it a whole lot worse than you the following day." And maybe that's not so reassuring.

"Rover? I haven't heard about him. I keep hearing about the possibility of public humiliation. That just doesn't sound like much fun." She grinned, "Well, unless you're not the one being humiliated."

"He's this big... white ball that can suck things up. He's the security around the campus, makes sure no one brigns in weapons and stops fights. It's kidna weird, but he seems to have kept things safe so..."

He luaghs a bit at her remark about being humiliated. "It's just easiest to shrug it off and move on really. Otherwise you'll never show your face outside your room again. And yeah, I'm speaking with experience here."

Isabel added another thing to the list of weird she was keeping in her head: purple dragon, gremlins, zombies, vampires, demons, and now big white ball. No problem....

"Oh no, what happened to you?"

Deciding she's bound to find out anyway, Cameron replies. "I got bitten by a hamster who turned out to be another student turned into an animal and then turned into a wolf cub. I spend the better half of a week running around on four paws," he grins a bit and conveniently leaves out the part where he turned back to himself naked in the theatre.

"Bitten by a hamster who was another student and it turned you into a wolf cub?" Isabel started to laugh and then couldn't stop for a few minutes. Finally she wiped her eyes and asked, "How did survive? Are there rules? How'd anyone know it was you?" She has a million questions because it seems like something weird is inevitable and it's probably better to be prepared.

On the fourth floor for no reason in particular, Angela sticks her head in the common room and sees Cam Mitchell talking to the blonde girl she had seen with Jake the day before.

"Hi, Cam. Hi, new person," she says cheerfully. "What's up? And why aren't you on the second floor?"

"Every once in a while I go out to see how much cooler second really is," Cameron says with a grin. "Was actually looking for my little sibling to see how he's doing."

Isabel waves hi to the new person. "Hi! I'm Isabel."

He's still embarrassed enough to blush as she starts laughing.

"Uh, John actually realised it was me. I tried to give him hints but after a while we figured out a barking system. People helped out with stuff. I got some handy hints from the mayor in town. He's a canine too and actually could understand me and professor Dream happens to speak wolf too. One of the students invented a translator, but I kinda chewed mine up."

"One bark for no and two for yes?" Isabel is sorry if she's still giggling. Especially when she sees Cam's blush. "There's a professor that speaks wolf? Pretty neat. But in other words, if I see an animal running around, it might be a classmate?"

"Actually, the other way around. One for yes, two for no." Cameron nods. "There's a pretty good chance it is. A lot of people have pets, though."

"Oh, who's your little bro?" Angela says, ignoring the pathetic delusion about the second floor. "I got paired with this girl Lyta. Talked to her a little at Caritas last night, but we haven't hung out much."

"Hey, Isabel," Angela says. "I'm Angela."

"So how do you like Fandom so far?"

"Walter... something. Damn, Dornez or something? Ugh, I suck. Been up way too long to sign up for classes."

Angela shrugs. "I haven't met Walter yet. But I just woke up insanely early for the signups. I think I got most of what I wanted, though. Or at least I hope so."

"I'm trying for history of art, medieval English history, math, music and sociology of the paranormal. What about you?"

Isabel turned when a redhead entered the room.

"Criminal Justice, Medievial English History, Maths, Self-Defence and Tactics of War," Cameron replies. "I'll see what I get in to. I need to have maths and history for the Academy so I'm keeping my fingers crossed."

"It's been interesting," her tone somehow managing to convey that she'd heard all about the weird things in town. "But everyone seems very nice."

Yuffie yawned as she headed towards her room. She had gotten up early to sign up (soooo sucky) but at least she signed up for classes that sounded *interesting* Shop for the win!

A smile spread across her face when she saw Cam. "Cam! I'm sorry I didn't come find you yesterday! I totally got busy decorateing my room. Anakin hasn't decoated his side *at all* How weird is that? You still wanna try it?"
